Puzzle Valley

To the DEV that dumps his games on Steam and then runs, this is the 2nd so far, that he has NEVER bothered to respond to any of the discussions on either of his games.... No instructions / tutorial AND the puzzles reset.... It is bad enough going in to this game blind without any form of tutorial / instructions with the exception of arrows BUT being stuck in YOUR set camera view without the ability to zoom in or out to see the full puzzle from any angle that I MAY WANT is VERY annoying to put it nicely! Then I think about this in view of my wanting to do a guide..... you DO NOT want to know that convo that is running through my brain since it would make a seasoned sailor blush!!!! And then I discover that the game resets ALL of the puzzles that I have completed upon logging out.... WTF!!!!! This despite my having "saved" as the game prompted me to do BEFORE exiting the game! So what are the chances that this is a bug (FTR: I should add that I did manage to get this function working by uninstalling and reinstalling.... TWICE!!!!) AND what are the chances we can enjoy the game with the ability to view it by being able to ZOOM in or out as needed???? 1st person view really suxs so please give us 3rd person view and for crying out loud the motion blur needs to be killed too which wouldn't be an issue IF you had bothered including settings BUT you didn't! It has been a week since I obtained this game on the day of its release and the DEV has failed to respond as I expected. So since this is the case as of now I see no alternative but to leave a NEGATIVE WARNING REVIEW so that potential buyers understand that they will not be able to mosey on through this game so easily until I or someone else has solved all of the mysteries involved with actually figuring out how the mechanics actually work since the dev saw fit to not enlighten anyone except himself! This review may be changed to a positive at a future date depending on certain factors.....

a fun puzzle game which was quite hard sometimes

Als Rätselfan musste ich dieses Spiel natürlich auch ausprobieren. Ich bin noch mittendrin, deshalb kann ich noch kein abschließendes Fazit geben. Aber, was mir an dem Spiel gefällt, ist, dass man in der Welt spawnt und dann selbständig herausfinden muss, was wohl zu tun ist. Dies gestaltet sich allerdings nicht allzu schwer - man läuft durch die Welt und findet erst leichte Versionen einer Rätselart, an denen man den Mechanismus kennen lernt, dann zunehmend schwerere. Durch das Lösen schaltet man neue Gebiete (mit neuen Rätseln) und Abkürzungen durch die Welt frei. Mir macht es bisher Spaß, auch wenn mich hin und wieder ein Rätsel schon fordert. Aber zu einfach wäre ja auch nichts. Der Entwickler hat seit Veröffentlichung des Spiels einige Verbesserungen hinzugefügt, die ich praktisch finde. Zudem kann man bei starken Schwierigkeiten oder dem Verdacht eines Bugs den Entwickler kontaktieren und bekommt zeitnah Hilfe oder Tipps. Alles in allem bisher, auch grafisch, ein schönes Spiel, an dem ich Freude habe und das ich auf jeden Fall weiterempfehlen kann! Preis-Leistung: top As a fan of puzzle games I had to check out this game, of course. I'm still playing so I cannot give a final evaluation. But, what I like in this game, is spawning in the world and have to find out what to do on your own. This is not too difficult: running through the world you find easier ones of each kind of puzzle to learn how it works. Step by step they will get harder. By solving the puzzles you will unlock new areas (with new sorts of puzzles) or shortcuts to get easier from one area to another. So far I enjoy the game although one or the other puzzle was a little bit harder for me. But too easy wouldn't be fun either. Since publishing the developer has added some very nice and practical improvements. In addition you can contact the developer if you are in strong trouble, need a hint or if you think you found a bug ;-) He helps promptly. All in all it is a very nice and beautiful game, also grafically, with that I have fun and that I can honestly recommend! Price-performance-ratio: top
