this game would be even better if i didn't get absolutely abused on beginner lobbies
honestly i literally only played this game for tetris and it was fun . i have no idea what the characters do or what the other mode is but it was kinda enjoyable lmfa
I got this game mainly for the adventure mode and it was a huge disappointment. My main complaint is that it's just way too hard! Solo mode is manageable but the single battles are not as fun as adventure mode where you progress. If you're looking for a good singleplayer mode, I would rather recommend "Tetris Effect: Connected" instead, if you don't mind it only being Tetris. GOOD - At first glance a nice game, there's both Puyo Puyo and Tetris and combinations if you really want. - Gameplay itself feels good. - Solo games have customizable difficulty settings. - A lot of characters and a level-up system in Skill Battle mode. - Lessons/Tutorials are very good. - No performance issues. BAD (Adventure mode) - Story: Very nonsensical and I didn't vibe with the humor. The very little story I sat through was pretty cringe. There was also too much dialog and it felt like filler content IMO. At least you can skip it completely with one push of a button. - Maps: Confusing to navigate, not that it matters that much in this game, but still. Luckily you can bypass the map with the shortcut button and easily select what level to play. - Difficulty: AI is almost God-tier, at least for me as a casual player. This is especially noticeable mid- to late game and at that point it's not fun anymore. - Attack system: Yes I know it's part of the core gameplay, but I personally didn't like it. F.ex. sending trash blocks over to the opponent.

49.6% clear so far, we've been trying to perfect each part before we move on! That's been a lot of fun, and a real challenge! It requires some skill and finesse to actually get the high scores, because you can actually defeat the opponents *too quickly* if you're not careful! Some of these challenges are really no joke, and we're only just getting to level 3! :o The story is so cute, we want to go back and play the original and some of the other games too. The characters are adorable. ^^
If you're looking for competitive play, dont buy this. If you're casual. Its a fun game otherwise :) - Matchmaking (And multi in general) is as good as dead (You usually play against the same player) - Only puzzle- and tetris league gets players. - Some weird delay with holding tetris pieces - Cant 180 tetris pieces.
tetrio is my main game but slow tetris is fun and i like playing puyo every now and then so whatever i like it. puyo v tetris sucks tho i hate it
