got third place in the finale race 6.7/10
Great Putt-Putt game, my only complaint is that the whole game leads up to a race. And you get to participate in said race. But there is literally no way for you to win during the first go-around, then afterwards they say some BS like "Oh its not about winning or losing." And I feel like thats a really conflicting message to give children. If its not about winning or losing, then why are you forcing the player to lose?
Fun game I always wanted to play as a kid. Also, the drivers at the end of the race are cold-blooded, they'll force you into the oil. Still a great game to play, but also that maze takes forever

This wasn't my favorite as a kid growing up, but I do have memories of playing this one just as many as Zoo and Time.. I had all but Circus. I played this one along with Zoo so many times that the Disc eventually said "no, you don't need to play this, you played it so much" and from there it stopped working. From the glorious cameos of everyone important, this is a very nostalgic game that I love just as much as the others if less than Time and Zoo. You don't need to be 8 to relive childhood. I play these every few years or so and still have fun. Make sure the kids of today can play what we played growing up. May not be as magical to them, but maybe they will respect it or something! Or they will tell you to stop it already with the damn games and to let them play the games they want to! Either one or both!
Remembering playing these Humongous Entertainment games like this one: Putt-Putt Enters the Race sure gave me back memories of the great games I used to play on my past computers. After all my favorite part of this game might be seeing the new baby animal Outback Al will bring to the Zoo of CarTown!

Finaly, after 20 years I managed to beat the game that made me struggle so much in kindergarden.
has better racing physics than the new f1 game. Has deep and meaningful lore with NPC's that really feel alive and as if they are really living their own lives. A must play for all serious sim racers as well as those looking for a long lasting rpg. 5/5
fun
my favorite game as a kid and my little cousin loved it too :)
