I like it, and i would totally play future games. Probably my only complain is being so short. Because that i sometimes feel stuff happened very fast so i would not savor all. Besides that i must say i like almost everything, the art is wolderful to me and the writing is what i expected making me very happy. I love the voices of the characters, especially one man who also played background roles.
beautiful soundtrack and music, minimalist graphic design, adorable characters. It`s my appetite

This is going to be a pretty extreme YMMV visual novel. It's also pretty short (just under 3 hours for me), so this review will also be pretty short and to the point. It's a story about a very real and very depressing part of history with some supernatural elements thrown in. If you're a fan of history, or at least know this part of history, then almost nothing in this story will surprise you at all. It will essentially be a few hours reading stuff you saw coming from very near to the beginning of the story, especially if you read the description of the game. I digress a bit, but why do visual novels give so much of the story away in their description? It takes all the power of the story away. I'm personally not a big fan of the art either, but I know it has its supporters. Voice actors did a decent to good job. Objectively the story is written decently well, it's just too short to fully flesh itself out. If they had simplified it a bit it would've been more satisfying. If you like the art and you're up for a depressing story with a mediocre ending, pick this up, it's cheap. Otherwise I'd say skip this one. I'm only hitting recommend because I know there's an audience out there for it, and it just missed the mark for me.
When darkness overpowers light,my screen turned into pitch black instead of white,I deem it would be better. What contributes me to buy English version mainly due to a much lower price between English version and Chinese version. There are also exists reasons such as the preparation for the final English text and the low rate Chinese translation I hear of.Anyhow,it consumes more time than I had expected, but it deserved .I was on English learning and start to learn Japanese,so I worked it with my electric dictionary.(So—why there is so many words means with the meaning like 'depraved'? )The feeling of experiencing the differences between the two languages is indescribable.I had buried myself into this world despite it has a high profile, which sometimes brought me a bad impression. The scene of this game are quite excellent, the essence is about salvation and death, the plot is a fate they should face, emphasizing on people's ignorance.
I got into this game because I saw an Osu! beatmap of the song for this game (忘れじの最果て / Endless Knot) which is also the promotional song on this Steam page. AND THE SONG IS JUST SO GOOD!!! Outside of the song, even though I haven't finished the game yet, but I love how real the story feels, given the very prominent witch-hunt theme that looms over this story. The tension is very well written. There is also a mystery in the plot that isn't too easily solved, but is paced in a way where there are major hints dropped every once in a while.
ILLSAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA
absolute cinema 10/10 its roughly 2-3 hours long having nayuta in the op(ed?) is awesome to see localization seems good, though i haven't gone through most of the localization yet do note which copy you buy. this release only has english, the other version is jp/cn
I really enjoyed the story. Even though it's short, it's so well-written and touching. I'm really hoping there's a localization for part two, lol.
I liked the characters; it may have only lasted a few hours, but they’re well written enough to make a strong impression from the very start. A bit darker than the first impression might suggest. Even if it starts with some slice of life, it’s a story about witch hunts; about the paranoia and mob mentality of the crowd that silences dissent and the unjust scapegoating of the weak and it’s something that resonated with me. It’s all interspersed with glimpses of theatricality throughout. The art style is certainly a choice but it actually ended up growing on me. Sure it’s weird but there’s a cute plushiness and sparkliness to it. It’s a complete story on its own. There’s enough to the setting that it could have a follow up but it resolves the characters story enough that I could have believed this was standalone if not for the name. A surprisingly solid gem; small but polished.
