Putinization is a lazy, insincere joke game that's been dumped on Steam as a cash grab in the hopes of getting a few sales by being clickbait/going "viral". It's a basic Construct 2 mobile app-like reflex game where you roll around a circle being chased by another circle as a picture of the Russian president is slowly revealed to you. If you survive long enough the picture is added a gallery which you can peruse later if you like looking at pictures of Russian leaders. It's trash, it's just a joke game with no serious or genuine intention to be a product for gamers.
There's no options to change the resolution for the game or customise the graphics settings. There's no way for gamers to ensure this is running at the native resolution of their displays... there's no guarantee this game will look right on any PC as a result of this hamfisted design decision. There's no way for gamers to try improve the low quality graphics.
Besides being garbage for the obvious reason this is an insincerely made joke game/cash grab, some of the defects in the game can be attributed to the choice of using the Construct 2 game construction kit. This is a very poor quality toolset sometimes used by amateur developers as it doesn't require advanced game development skills, but unfortunately has very limited capabilities (it's worse than GameMaker Studio!). Just as you can't make a silk purse out of a sows ear, you can't make a great video game if you use a terrible engine.
This looks and feels like a mobile app, but I wasn't able to find it on the app stores. Maybe it was removed, maybe it was rejected by Apple and Google (they do have more rigorous quality standards than Valve does for Steam, after all). Regardless, for all intents and purposes this is a mobile app, it has the same limitations and dumbed down qualities. It's impossible to recommend such a game to PC gamers. We don't spend all this money building gaming rigs so we can pretend they're iPhones.
Putinization is relatively cheap at $1 USD, but it's not worth it. Given the defects and quality issues with the game, coupled with the unrealistic price and insincere nature of the game, this is impossible to recommend.
One final note: Because this is more of a "joke" game, intended to draw attention from controversy or in the hopes of going viral because it's "so bad it's good" (but it isn't good at all), there's nothing here to offer to serious gamers. As usual, with most awful/joke games, all the comedians come out of the woodwork. The vast majority of the reviews for this game are joke reviews, such as "this game cured my cancer, saved my marriage, changed my life" etc. Because most of the reviews are as insincere as the game itself is, the positive review score for this game should be disregarded.
