Wakoku is a fictional Japanese styled nation built by the cat folk in the post apocalyptic era. The kingdom maintains long term peace and internal harmony with zero internal conflicts. The first four playable love interests are the companions surrounding Princess Tama. Yuzu is a cat warrior who is outstanding and dependable. He has been Tama’s childhood friend since an early age and currently serves as her personal attendant as well as military advisor. Ku-Nyan is a tsundere cat who has expertise in medical treatment and tailoring, and also shares a long childhood friendship with Tama. Kotaro is Tama’s cousin and her designated fiancé for the royal wedding. Shide is a mysterious blonde cat merchant from a foreign country who always covers his head with a cloak. As the story progresses, Tama faces two massive predicaments simultaneously. Her father’s terminal illness cannot be cured by any medical means, and the king does not have much time left. This further strengthens Tama’s determination to seize the throne. At the same time, she continues to make full preparations for her upcoming wedding with Kotaro. The royal wedding is a sacred traditional ritual of the cat tribe. The core purpose of the ceremony is to report royal marital affairs to the worshipped humans. A turning point occurs during the official wedding ceremony between Tama and Kotaro. A bright light suddenly bursts from the altar, and a real human male appears in front of all attendees. This human protagonist is Kamiya Ibuki, the fifth love interest of the game. The 17 year old high school student originates from a modern world. He was transported to Wakoku in an isekai style accident. The appearance of a real human is regarded as an unprecedented earth shaking event that can affect the entire kingdom and even the whole world. While Tama and the gang continues wedding preparations, a powerful imperial fleet from the aforementioned foreign empire docks along Wakoku’s coastline. This empire far outmatches Wakoku in technological development. This incident introduces the game’s sixth and final love interest, Kitty, a supreme commander of the imperial army who has rare heterochromia with a golden right eye and a green left eye. He arrives in Wakoku under the pretext of launching bilateral trade negotiations. The peace does not last long after his arrival, as the king of Wakoku is abruptly assassinated soon afterwards, throwing the kingdom into chaos.
