I’m writing this review veryyy impulsively because I’m FRUSTRATED. Why does this game have DRM!! Originally, I was planning on playing it on my laptop during a 5 hour train ride. Naturally, the train doesn’t have very consistent WiFi which I didn’t think would be an issue since it’s just a visual novel. When I tried to launch the game in offline mode, however, it came to my surprise the game doesn’t launch at all. WHY THE ♥♥♥♥ DO YOU NEED CONSTANT ONLINE CONNECTION FOR A VISUAL NOVEL WITH NO ONLINE FEATURES! I’ll just bring an actual book next time damn.

一存档就闪退，不让玩是吧，官方过了七年也不打算修了，不幸的我买早了半年没办法退款了 这么多暴力移植的好歹能玩，你这不能存档还玩什么呢。第一次碰到这么折磨玩家的

为什么我在取名字的界面输入名字就会闪退啊 你骗我 你的存档根本存不了 翻到20年的评论说有bug了 过了六年还没修吗 得亏我还听说这游戏剧情不错

忍不了了，玩了不到一个小时闪退六七次，这游戏纯暴力移植，一点优化都不做就端上steam吗？第一次启动时直接闪退，第二次玩着玩着突然闪退，最难蚌的是一保存就闪退，根本无法保存。去小红薯看了下普遍存在这个问题。而且我用的还是窗口模式，依然闪退。一开始不知道这游戏还有这毛病呢，从头打了好几次。纯折磨人来的。这游戏小黑盒居然能有7.3分，我都震惊了，不是2.8分我很难理解，不说剧情怎么样了，问题是玩都没法玩

Hanate is peak.

A game that continues to crash every few minutes. You can crash as soon as under three minutes in. There are no Auto-Saves and your Quick Saves will get deleted the moment you crash. There are also freezing issues and you can't play this game offline. If you wish to torture yourself with continuously opening the game every 2 minutes or so, you can have [b]FUN[/b] with this one!!! And yes, this issue is known for years already and no one even [i]cares[/i] to fix it. So nothing new there.

I really enjoyed playing this game.. The storylines are very rich and very emotional (in my opinion). If I had to name a downside, During the whole game I had 3 game crashes (but that was all xD), and the game play was not the longest, but very enjoyable.

It [b]crashes every other second[/b]—I haven't even gotten to one route yet! Perhaps that is for the better, because this game is a snorefest; that [b]horror tag is a lie![/b] Do not be deceived by it, and try other visual novels/otome games instead. How is this game even [b]29€[/b]? Horrible port, the art is mediocre, and the story is written for people who wouldn't even have that kind of money at that age!
