About
This is a short horror visual novel inspired by true events I've experienced,

In Purple Maniac you play as a father with his baby in a bathroom stall. Then a murderer and his latest victim enter the restroom. You have to keep your baby quiet while you hear the slaughter coming from right beside you. Do you cover your baby's ears to the sound of a power drill or rock them to sleep?

First off... This did not happen to you. You are a liar, and I do NOT trust liars. Second off.... Silencing my phone does NOTHING to the story. Sure.. I can cover the baby's ears. Sure, I can check out a different horror movie. BUT, in the end, we all get the SAME problem. It's just not enough. Do better. :(
Purple Maniac really captures the dangers and triumphs of single parenthood and explicitly illuminates what its like to change your babys diapers in a public restroom. The horror is real and just something everyone who has ever met a guy with down syndrom, purple skin and a gun can relate to. Excellent sound design, cheap price (you can play the game so fast you can even 100% it AND get a refund [which i didnt do {out of respect for the hardworking devs}]) and just overall a phenomenal expierience. Really exited for ya next game fam. Just maybe add a quit button and the ability to go full screen ;-) With kind regards, Oreg4000
Oh, that's a bummer. He died before I could get to the other eye.
This game was horrifying without really doing that much. I liked it.

:O
Nice short game. I suggest allowing to skip the endings, because when I was trying out all the options I would try mashing through the ones I already saw just for it to not let me, as well as the pause menu being disabled at times. Also could barely take it seriously with how the manic was completely reading off their script.
No one leaves the mansion unscathed.
Great wonderful game
A five-minute visual novel proving that sometimes the smartest move is to step away when things don’t work. A very short game where you play as Henry and his baby son, Jason, who decide to go see a movie. Afterward, Jason needs a diaper change, and the only option is a nearby public restroom. While there, Henry investigates strange noises coming from inside, and ends up getting shot. This is just one of the quick endings you’ll encounter if you make the wrong choices. The gameplay is simple: you must choose between rocking the baby or covering his ears while a murderer tortures a victim outside. The killer describes what he’s about to do, giving you clues, but often just covering Jason’s ears is enough to progress. A wrong choice means death, while the correct one moves you forward to the next stage of torture with the same two options. You repeat this process until the murderer eventually leaves. You can slightly change the end by informing the cops, and there’s one decision that leads to the best ending. Since you can save before making a decision, you don’t have to replay the entire game after each mistake.
