Puppergeist

Puppergeist is a rhythm game where you play as a witch named Claire, in search of her dog, Pup, who has passed on to the Doggy Underworld. Along her journey she meets and befriends a demon named Lunne, who promises to guide her through the multiple levels of the Doggy Underworld. Over the course of about 2 hours, you’ll play 11 different rhythm-based mini games in order to progress through the game’s story. I found each of the mini games to be a joy to play, thanks mainly in part to the game’s charming hand-drawn art style and catchy music. Puppergeist caught me off-guard with the intensity of its subject matter and storytelling. There was one scene at the end of the first act where I found myself sobbing uncontrollably because the story was so moving. However, after completing the game, that scene proved to be the high-water mark for me as the rest of the game's story failed to meet the exceedingly high expectation set by the game’s first act. The rest of the story is still pretty good, though I feel that the final act could have benefitted from one more minigame and one more scene to wrap up everything neatly. That said, I simply adore this game and for just $5 US dollars you will be hard pressed to find a better way to spend 2 hours.

SO worth the wait!!! It's a short but super cute rhythm game with a banger soundtrack! I played the demo and got incredibly emotional because it made me think of how much I missed my own dog, so I knew I had to get it once it came out. Was not dissapointed, although I did fumble a few levels quite badly 😂 Thanks, team!!

Actually an adorable, fun game with great vibe

狗狗灵魂的温情内核，加上简单的鼓点节奏，就诞生了这款治愈的《节奏汪星》。这是一款偏向《节奏天国》的独立节奏作品，它用了非常简单的按键玩法，讲述了一场关于离别、陪伴与思念的故事，从画风上就可以看出它的温暖治愈，但是体量和它2.4G不大的容量一样，比较短。 故事中我们扮演年轻女巫克莱尔，为寻找走失的爱犬，踏入汪星。它的2D卡通画风色彩鲜亮柔和，角色与狗狗形象也是画的非常的软萌，整体观感舒适，大量的犬吠音效让我不禁想起最近很火的网络梗，大狗叫叫叫，不过其实这种设计比较缺少记忆点，整体上的编曲也偏简单，高潮少。 玩法上借鉴节奏天国的设计，甚至是说比那还要简单上不少，没有复杂的多键位操作，上手门槛很低。关卡玩法花样不少，多种类型的互动小游戏轮番登场，而且判定也非常的容易，对音游新手非常友好，不会直接游戏失败，互动效果做的也很好，指挥狗狗，拍拍狗狗，真的满足了我的“撸狗情节”，哈哈哈哈！ 但音游部分的短板同样很明显。整体流程很短，节奏型相对单一，大多以四分、八分音符为主，高难度节拍很少，而且这个延迟一般的算法应该是声音延迟-键盘延迟，它这个延迟做的有点怪，听感上声音延迟是比较高的，所以就会经常慢拍子。 整体来说，作为一款音游的话它可能并不适合那些喜欢挑战高难的选手，甚至说它比《喵斯快跑》还要简单上不少，但是它的剧情和音乐还有犬吠的运用让游戏整体给人的感觉非常放松，喜欢休闲的玩家可以来尝试一下。 [quote] 关注[url=https://store.steampowered.com/curator/44791929/]游戏好声音[/url]，认真品味好游戏，倾听游戏好声音。 [/quote]

Generally from the art style to the story to the songs it was just so peak and honestly the story was super sad as well as amazing in terms of how dog owners treat their dogs or how their dog could be the savior for them. personally I adore the art style and think it is so cute and soothing but most the songs go hard with the different beat depending on if you want a slow but soothing song to a fast and heated song or if you wanted both it was genuinely balanced well. I had lots of trouble with the callibration but it didn't stop me from liking the game even if I genuinely sucked at fixing it up

Ein kurzes, aber süßes Spiel. Vor allem hatte der Artstyle mich persönlich hier abgeholt und ich hätt mir schon gewünscht, dass es noch ein bisschen länger hätte sein können. Aber manchmal brauchen gute Geschichten keine ewig lange Spielzeit. Auch ein schöner Ideenreichtum bei den Rhythmusspielen. Man kann sich an einem ruhigen Nachmittag auf alle Fälle das Spiel gönnen ^^
