About
From the creators of Paradise Killer comes a mind-bending open-world narrative adventure mascot management simulator where mascots are more than just symbols - they’re unpredictable forces of nature! Step into the chaos, unravel the conspiracies, drive a tiny truck and try to keep it all together in Promise Mascot Agency!

You thought mascots were just fluffy, innocent brand ambassadors? Think again. The Mascots are all living, breathing, fully formed personalities, with dreams, fears, and the occasional breakdowns of their own- just like us! Whether it’s Trororo, a charming cat who’s a little too obsessed with "adult video" or sweet, silken To-Fu, who can’t stop sobbing, your job is to befriend, mentor, and (hopefully) get these mascots to finish their jobs without causing a major catastrophe.

Sending your mascots out to work is never as easy as it sounds. One minute they’re promoting delicious food, the next they’re stuck in a doorway or starting a kitchen inferno. Need help? Good thing Kaso-Machi is full of intrepid everyday heroes ready to lend a hand (if you’ve managed to befriend them, of course). Unlock Hero Cards, featuring Kaso-Machi’s lovable local weirdos like Captain Sign, Japan’s only road-sign superhero (don’t ask questions), or Mama-San, a bar owner with a serious latex collection. These heroes will step in to provide help when your mascots inevitably lose control.

Kaso-Machi is a town full of secrets, and Michi isn’t just stuck in an office managing mascots - he’s on the road in his rusty (but upgradeable!) Kei Truck. This nifty little ride may look like a heap of junk, but with a few tweaks, it’ll have nitro boosts, glider wings, and even the ability to launch Pinky☆ - Michi’s maniacal mascot assistant - like a missile. Use your truck to explore the strange, forgotten town, unlock collectibles, and uncover hidden mysteries. Who knew a Kei Truck could be your best friend in a town where literally everything else hates you?!

Exiled after an ambush that left his clan in shambles, Michi finds himself piecing together the mystery of what really happened, while the town seems to actively conspire against him. Nightmare spirits seem a little too interested in your business, and there’s an ever-present sense that something’s very, very wrong in this place…

Think you can resist? Think again. The mascots know where you live. Step into the world of Promise Mascot Agency and claim your place in this brave new world of mascot domination.

Saw this game mentioned in YT by a reviewer calling it interesting and unique and tried it. Driving on the open-world was fun as heck, esp with upgrades that allows your truck do some some funky ♥♥♥♥. Characters are unique and memorable, the jankiness contributes to the charm. The card-game seems fun but it's just a stat-check, easy as heck once you get them upgraded to the point mascots needing help becomes a slog. There's not much reward in engaging with it, you just get extra money and that's it - which brings me to the next point. I wish there were more ways to use up money. Another problem is with the early game main quest where we need to deposit money regularly. I actually game over-ed a few times because I started the main quest too early without a good source of income yet. Starting over the day before was a pain in the ass so I just CE and gave myself 150k yen to buy myself time. Not long after I was able to sustain it regularly. Overall good indie game, would rec for the story and gameplay.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,402 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

One of the top games of 2025 for me. I lovely evolution from their previous work, Paradise Killer, with a heartfelt message that resonated with me when I myself was in an unfamiliar city going through a temporary clinical rotation. The parallels between the act of driving around Kaso-Machi and interacting with locals and my own personal life navigating Seattle while making friends with local baristas and bartenders really helped drive home that true community building can come from simply frequenting businesses that align with your values and taste. Infectious humor and truly inspired vehicular navigation design twist together to make for a memorable experience.
Loved the game. Great atmosphere of 90s rural japan, lots of random designs and funny at that, a decent Story and lots of collectibles. I almost felt like I am the perfect demographic for this game. There is really only one downside. It can feel a bit lengthy for the gameplay it offers. I got between 5 to 10 hours of real management and exploring and a tiny bit of racing against time. The rest were story dialog and driving around to collect everything. Won't be for everybody. I would have loved a bit more stuff to do on the side and shortening the story just a little bit in exchange.
Does pretty much everything right except for the time trials.
It's like a unique crossover between Yakuza/Like A Dragon and Sesame Street and shares themes with both. The game can touch on topics of the sex industry and government corruption before seamlessly transitioning to talk about friendship and the importance of supporting each other. It works shockingly well. The map design is a standout. I'm a big fan of a well designed town and the island feels very real in how it is structured. It's very authentic, to the point where it has these inconveniences that make sense once you learn the backstory. If you've ever lived in a small town, you know that we do in fact have our absurd little landmarks hidden out in the woods. I've never felt more represented. Some things could stand to be really sped up. I don't need a reintroduction to every minigame every time I start it up. The one intro is enough. There's seemingly no option to have Pinky stop making noises while I'm driving around and doing ♥♥♥♥, and that did drive me crazy.
Quite literally a work of genius. I should stop there because I want people just to play the game. As a fan of Yakuza and that bizarro universe, a confused player of their previous game, and someone who really likes the Showa era aesthetic in Manga and anime, I feel like this game was made for me at this juncture in my life. It is an extremely wholesome driving and management Sim, that plays off its nod to the least wholesome aspects of Japanese culture while embracing everything cozy and fun about building a business. There are time loops, and there is some strain in terms of money acquisition, but all of that is completely avoidable if you just don't progress the red line quests quickly, and concentrate on side quests like a boss. Because you are the boss, of a failing mascot enterprise in a cursed Town under a several billion dollar debt to a Yakuza lord. In many ways this is a game about redemption, surrealism, corruption and the ways to fight the decline in culture. The subplots fill out the story and make this environment at once believable and appealing. Graphically and mechanically, I have no complaints and I did not encounter any bugs. If the truck gets stuck for whatever reason on the landscape, there's a respawn that costs you nothing. Once you upgrade the truck to fire your mascot co-owner like a heat seeking missile, the game is basically yours to unlock. The accessibility options are terrific, and since I'm a little old to be timing my turbo and jumps to catch Fox spirits, which is a sentence that I never thought I'd say, I really do appreciate the ability to slow things down. I love the graphics, and this game doesn't pretend to be more than it is. It is a rock solid implementation of unreal engine, re-skinning some of the most fundamental pleasures, and for those of us that were around when Grand theft Auto 3 released, offers the same size world and interactivity with no FPS loss on the steam deck. Absolutely worth full price, this is one of those rare games that set the standard for this production studio, and guarantee that I will always buy whatever they make. You owe it to yourself to give this a shot, even if the genre doesn't speak to you, because within about 2 minutes I was grinning like an idiot and the conversation and script continue to amuse 5 hours later. Again, if stressing about money turns you off, just do not progress the red line quests beyond having to meet the business leader downtown, and you can quickly set up a business that earns plenty for the bank as well as subcontractors for passive income before you feel the weight of your outstanding debt to the Yakuza. I quickly I mean take your time and enjoy yourself, I am in no hurry to complete this game. One of the best management pieces of advice I received from a steam community was to pay your mascots what they are worth, because their happiness allows you to grow. Another would be to always intervene, and you'll understand when the game gets to mascot jobs. Thank you Kaizen, for this perfect piece of entertainment. It's so rare that I play something this unselfconscious and this good. I wish I could give you more than just a rec.
