Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.57/day in the week to Jul 31 → 0.57/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,404 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About

Project Songbird is a first-person cinematic narrative psychological horror game from Conner Rush and his studio FYRE Games, the developer behind the critically praised games Summerland and We Never Left (from Dread X Collection 5). Take control of Dakota, a career musician who, amidst writer's block, decides to isolate themself in a cabin in the remote Appalachian forest in order to record their next album. Take in this gripping tale, explore the natural environment and haunting dreamscapes, and fight to survive in this short horror experience.

A dark, enthralling 4-5 hour narrative to keep you hooked and guessing until the end.
Gorgeous visuals as you traverse numerous and diverse environments, presented with a cinematic, film-like aesthetic.
Ranged and melee combat with upgradeable weapons to help you survive your nightmarish journey
A stellar voice cast, starring Valerie Rose Lohman (What Remains of Edith Finch, Wolfenstein: Youngblood), Jonah Scott (Dying Light 2: Stay Human, Date Everything), and Aleks Le (Persona 3: Reload, Marvel Rivals, Ghost of Yotei)
A beautifully dynamic and haunting soundtrack composed and performed by Jacob Noska, and Jonah Henthorne: members of the band Auric Echoes

Hi, everyone! This is Conner. I just wanted to briefly say thank you for checking out my game and an extra special thank you to anyone who's supported me in any way throughout the creation of it. This is by far the most personal game I've ever made, and I think that'll be easy to see for anybody who plays through it. Much of the process for making this game involved just trying a bunch of weird ideas, and I think that, in the end, it all came together really well. No matter what, I'm proud of it, and I'm very happy to have made it. I hope it can help you in the way that it's helped me. Thank you!
Feel free to reach out with any questions, comments, or concerns. Just keep in mind that I'm a solo developer and will respond to the best of my ability :)

NICE STORY ITS A HORROR FORSHO
It took me a little bit to be able to write this because I had to process the absolute beauty and emotion of it all. I went into this expecting a scary cabin in the woods vibe, and that cabin in the woods ended up housing such depth of emotion that I was unprepared for, yet entirely blessed to have been a part of. I don't know that I've ever played a game where the developer has checked in on me to make sure I am doing okay, and that alone hit me in such a raw way that took me aback in a warm, caring way. That moment encapsulates the energy of the game for me. It was visually stunning (many screenshots were taken for desktop backgrounds), with top tier voice acting, difficult yet rewarding puzzles, genuinely stressful horror elements (in the best way), and a depth of story and an ending that will stay with me for a long time. I have not a single bad word to say about this game, and extend my sincerest thanks to the developer Connor for sharing something so deep, raw, and personal. You made something truly remarkable.

The creators described this game as silent hill meets alan wake and I can 100% see the influence. The story is well paced, despite being a little on the nose. I like the fourth wall breaking this game does and messes with yourself and your PC to make you feel like you're going crazy. Each encounter makes you feel more confused which reminds me a lot of SIlent Hill. I do wish there was more enemy variety and the stealth/combat can be a little rough but it's well worth the 3-4 hours for a playthrough
A game that speaks to all the folks who create - games, art, music, etc.
Songbird is an outstanding indie horror experience, the concept is fresh, the atmosphere is unsettling yet familiar, and the graphics maintain a unique art style a cut above the usual mid detail blender assets we see in a lot of indie work these days. I would argue that the cut to Connor in the third quarter of the story takes away from the narrative of the game while trying to bring attention to artistic struggles, I just couldn’t post this without mentioning it. I was so immersed and on the edge of my seat to find out more about the witch just to get pulled out of it, I just really wish it could have waited until the end of the story I think it would have enhanced the experience.
exquisite game. 9.5/10.
The music, and story were all made well. W
