Project: Num

As it is on early access, the game naturally has a lot of bugs, especially in the map editor. Its quite troublesome to make maps in its current state, since there are plenty of issues. For example, sliders tend to break down, some notes appear in the level but not in the editor and some aspects of the level, such as the approach rate can only be edited directly from the files of the level. However it's still very rewarding and fun to make a level (just needs some patience lol). The gameplay loop however is surprisingly fun and it's quite satisfying! I really enjoy how the num pad format "elevates" the gameplay and offers for more interesting patterns to be made in levels. I find it interesting and unique compared to some of the other rhythm games out there. Regarding content, in all honesty there isn't all that many levels given the game's age and small community, but it is possible to download some community made levels on the project: num discord server. However you might not have that much to do if you aren't looking into making maps yourself. I got the game for free, but it would definitely been worth the money since the game is so cheap! TLDR: Lots of bugs (mainly in the map editor) and lack of content but its understandable due to being early access. Would still definitely recommend for anyone who likes rhythm games!

UNHOLY. Sweet, smoky, spicy — made me black out with joy. Every bite was a violent explosion of flavor that slapped my soul and mocked every other burger I’ve ever had. Now it’s gone.
