I really wanted to like this game but its so incredibly frustrating and poorly designed i cant fathom to play it another 5 minutes and retain my sanity. I really like the atmosphere and the ps1 graphics, but i just cant.... First off, who the ♥♥♥♥ binds the controls to have (Z) as the forward button? im sorry but that is the dumbest ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ thing i have ever seen in my life. Secondly, the level design is so utterly confusing as hell. The moment u start, your in a house. But you go into the basement, and you re=appear on the second floor? WHAT THE HELL? it just kept looping around and around which made no sense at all. i KNOW this is a indie game, and i give props to the developer, but jesus christ. FIX the first area. Id be willing to give it a second chance after its polished up a bit, but right now this game and its controls are unplayable.

project BLARI it's kind of a mix bag. At the surface, it's premise and PS1 aesthetic look interesting; a third person horror, with a semi open world to explore... Looks enticing, doesn't play amazing. In the first seconds you will be left confused by the camera, button mashing needed to sprint, and English translations that change halfway to French, without you touching the settings, that, amazingly enough, were left also in French. The history is told through notes, or rather papers with mathematic equations that I failed to understand, and, to close the deal, the slowest escort mission to ever been invented, since RE4 came out. The price tag is, unfortunately, rather expensive for a product that clearly wasn't tested or finished and will never be. The devs seemed to have forgotten the game exists, and preferred to move on to different games. You can check how the game runs on Steam Deck by pressing the link below: https://youtu.be/P7U0xwaqICU
Very fun little indi horror game with the style of PS1 game. The first time you play, you might fine that the game is linear, but if you try to get all the different ending, you will some liberty!
A VERY enthusiastic YES!! Tank controls straight from the 90s, a true PS1 aesthetic, great attention to detail, environmental story-telling, dark questions, choices to be made... This is a short little hour long game with a few endings that really hits the mark! It has a couple of stealth areas that dont overstay their welcome or are overly punishing. The atmosphere of the game is amazing DESPITE its limited graphical prowess. For boomers like me or youngins who are curious of the old PS1 horror games (a la Resident Evil), what youll find here is a very enjoyable and fun experience. Sometimes very psychedelic as well... youll see. What I found very refreshing is that I have a weapon and have a way to fight back. So sick and tired of Amnesia clones.... There are a couple of enemies that cannot be killed and they provide short little chase scenes with one actually getting my blood pumping. The gun is amazingly responsive for a game of this style as well. Just really fun. I definitely have to give this game a 8.75 out 10. I feel like more could have been done with the story but it left room for a sequel. I sure hope it does get one!
