So far my experience has been very mixed. I found this by chance and liked the idea of the game. There are obvious improvements to be made but the core seems solid, fight your way through the other players and boss to win the loot. Even when you lose you still get some of the in game currency (shards). The have 2 main issues that honestly need addressed immediately, 1- you cannot join your friend to go into a public lobby 2- servers, servers, servers While trying to play with my friend it was difficult to find the same match as one another, though not impossible due to the fact the amount of people playing is just a handful. We could've played the private lobby but we wouldnt have earned the shards. Every time we were in the same lobby we would fight, sometimes 25/50 kills in, sometimes killing the boss, and we would get kicked. about 2 1/2 out of my 3.3 hours were wasted due to being kicked from the server. Why didnt we give up after the first 1 or 2 times you ask I really enjoy how this game could be. Thats why I'm gonna recommend this because hopefully by the time you read this the servers are strong, the playerbase has action, and the bugs are squashed.

Been here since the start. The game has come a long way and keeps improving, new things are constantly added, performance improved. The devs are listening to the playerbase, are very friendly and fun to play with. Despite there being issues with the public servers on early access launch, im positive issues are going to be ironed out.
A truly terrible game, Gatcha game trailer and all. No actual gameplay is shown, since it is repetitive and boring mouse-clicking of low-damage strikes against a timer. Might as well be a click speed trainer, except your attacks are always sluggish and delayed. Uninspired and terrible, don't bother. Oh, and there is no community, since everyone has already abandoned it.
Nobody is playing, plus the combat feels so sluggish when I tried it against the random enemies.

While the title might be a bit perplexing and there are acknowledged issues raised by other reviewers, from what I've experienced, this game shows potential as a stylish dungeon "cleaning" simulator within an urban backdrop. I'm quite fond of this concept! With hopes that the developers address some of the weaker aspects in future updates, I cautiously recommend it.
"all-time peak 15 months ago": 10. Lemme tell you this game is dead dead and I'm not surprised thanks to the gameplay :).
Even if you and your team complete all the objectives but the last one, You will lose and get nothing. This game is truly one of the worst free-to-play games I've ever played. Do not download it. Do not support it. Don't play it. It is awful.
"Project Apidom" is an abandoned Early Access P2W "extraction RPG" whatever that means... the art looks okay and given how badly the game is made, that makes me think it's probably a bunch of flipped assets, but it's important to try give the benefit of the doubt. Which is not easy considering the toxic monetisation on this failed train wreck. What do you do in the game? You don't do anything because there's no players, but if you want, the developers would like you to give them lots of money so you can "win". The developers abandoned this 10 months ago. It will never be completed. This unfinished game is just polluting Steam and making it harder for gamers to find genuinely, completely made games. The game graphics look better than you might expect, but that's just because it looks like some or all of them are "borrowed" from asset stores or wherever. Gamers can tell... and it comes across as insincere. There's also the old adage that those who lack the budget and talent to make their own game assets usually lack the budget and talent to do the rest of the job of game development properly, too. On pricing, this is not free, the developer has their hand out for $45 USD worth of DLC for this as you're expected to buy some extra DLC packages from Steam to fully unlock everything. This is deliberately deceptive pricing when a single up front free would be more honest. The game should not be considered free due to this shady pricing structure. Yeah... FOURTY FIVE UNITED STATES DOLLARS. The developer never had time to finish this mess, but they had all the time in the world to make P2W DLC packs. Disgusting. Even though this is "free", it failed to appeal to the 120 million+ gamers on Steam. SteamDB showed the game peaked at only 10 concurrent players... this is a dismal public reception. This was so bad they couldn't even give it away. Bearing in mind that free games don't add +1 to your game collector count, should you bother adding this to your library and downloading it? Nope. This isn't worth downloading. While this didn't cost me any money up front, I still feel ripped off.
