The best puzzle game I've played. There's a bit of a learning curve but it is extremely satisfying. Another review put it best: "It introduces merely 8 [exceedingly simple] functional components (and they are ALWAYS available - no gimmicks!)." i.e. no lazy level design where a tool is removed to increase difficulty. Building something like an indexable array or max function from just these simple tools, and watching it come to life in the games juicy art style, is so fun. If your having trouble just spam some circuit boards and I promise something will start coming together. Also try to make your designs not rely on the timing of the wires until you optimize :)
Great game. What sets it apart against others in the same genre are the selection of components and the essentially infinite nested building space. The game doesn't really give you a convenient way to do anything, so you end up hacking together absurd solutions and praying that they work.

A fantastic puzzler reminiscent of the Zachtronics games!
(The Linux version doesn't work for me, but it runs fine in Proton.) I have no hope of finishing this game, but it's a lot of fun making boards in boards in boards and running into all sorts of sync issues and other bugs.
Loving it.

Prime Mover is an absolute gem of a puzzle game, blending logical problem-solving with a sense of creativity that few games manage to capture. From the moment I started designing circuits and optimizing my builds, I was hooked. What makes Prime Mover special is its open-ended approach to puzzle-solving. Instead of forcing a single solution, it challenges you to think like an engineer, constantly refining and optimizing your designs. The satisfaction of shaving a few cycles off a solution or finding a more elegant way to process data is unmatched. The minimalist aesthetic and atmospheric soundtrack create a relaxing yet deeply engaging experience. There's no pressure—just pure problem-solving joy. Whether you're a seasoned programmer or someone who simply loves a good brain teaser, Prime Mover delivers a rewarding experience that keeps you coming back for more. If you enjoy games that make you think outside the box, this is a must-play. 10/10!
