About
Pretend Cars Racing is back—rebuilt from the ground up. Keeping its signature balance between arcade fun and simulation feel, Pretend Cars Racing 2 brings more cars, more tracks, and more ways to race. Create and share custom circuits with the built-in Track Creator and Steam Workshop support, experience a dynamic day–night cycle designed for long multi-class events, and enjoy a long list of improvements across the board.
A refreshed physics approach makes the game instantly enjoyable from your very first laps—yet deeply rewarding as you improve. You’ll find yourself chasing that perfect lap time whether you’re racing AI, battling friends, or pushing for the top spot on the global leaderboards.
The game supports split-screen multiplayer so you can race against friends, locally or via the Internet even if they don't own a copy, through Steam's Let's Play Together!
The base game includes 37 tracks inspired by real-world circuits and original layouts, plus 7 car categories spanning multiple eras of motorsport—each demanding a different driving style.
Alongside nearly 40 included tracks, you can expand the roster with your own creations or community-made circuits. The Track Creator is easy to use and fully integrated with Steam Workshop. You can also customize the names and looks of the entire driver grid to make every championship feel personal.
Time progression during races adds fresh challenges. Let the hours pass naturally—or speed them up for faster transitions—to recreate night races and endurance-style events, even under the rain.
Follow the journey of a young sim racer as he takes his first steps toward becoming a real racing driver.
From his early years to the challenges of professional motorsport, the story takes you through different stages of his life and introduces a variety of racing categories along the way.
The revised handling model improves steering, weight transfer, grip, and overall control while supporting FWD, RWD, and AWD cars.
Every car has its own character, bringing the game closer to a simulation without losing the fast, accessible feel that defines Pretend Cars Racing.
Racing feels more alive thanks to upgraded particle effects, improved audio, dynamic lighting, and persistent skid marks that leave a visible trace of the battles taking place on track.
From tire smoke and debris to changing lighting conditions, every race builds its own visual story.

calm luh car game
Recomendado.
Games brilliant. The games totally different to any new stuff thats out and the game does its job brilliantly. The cars drive different, the AI race you hard and are always getting improved. Theres consistent updates and the community is tight-knit and welcoming! The track builder needs a little work but its still very easy to create new tracks.
Just a quick review and I’ll update it if my opinion changes. After around 3 hours of play I think this is great. At the asking price I’d argue I’ve already gotten my money’s worth. I’ve pretty much spent the entire 3 hours trying to win the first championship on 100% AI (it does go higher). I’ve won plenty of races, but haven’t managed to finish better than 2nd in the championship. The game defaults to 85% AI, but I won the same championship on my first attempt. At 100% the AI races pretty much under the same conditions as you do and the game doesn’t feel cheap. Arguably they recover a little quicker from crashes than you do, but no two crashes or spin outs are the same so it’s a little difficult to nail down whether this is actually the case. There is an excellent risk/reward aspect to driving aggressively. You can push the AI off tracks or cause them to spin, but of course you may also cause yourself to lose control. The AI does not drive stupidly aggressively. The focus is on pure racing, but without penalties for aggressive driving. I have barely touched the career/story mode, but it appears quite substantial and puts you in a lot of different scenarios. The handling is really dialed in and there are a variety of cars that do actually feel different. The track is always visible with no blind corners encountered so far. The camera tends to zoom in a little on corners, but zooms out so you can see upcoming corners. Learning tracks is a thing, but because the camera zooms out you can also take corners as they come as they don’t just suddenly appear in front of you. There do not appear to be power ups (yet), which I am thankful for. As stated earlier, this is pure racing where cornering efficiently, overtaking at the correct time and calculated aggression is the key. I have played on my Steam Deck and PC and it runs great on both. It’s rated as Playable on Steam Deck, but runs perfectly and plays better than most verified games. There is some small text, but only in parts and nothing unreadable. I didn’t have to adjust any settings or use the zoom function.
It's just fun! Love the look, gameplay and physics! And it's a steal for the price. Only wish: Option to set an individual (closer) zoom especially for SteamDeck (runs like a charm btw) to make out the cars better and enjoy the pixel art even more.
