About

Immerse yourself in the unsettling, surreal reality of “The Liminal Dimension” — a psychological horror that will test the limits of your perception. In this world, there are no cheerful ducks or colorful decorations; only silence, emptiness, and endless loops leading to even more loops.
Your sole objective is to find an escape, but be warned — each turn, each corridor, may seem disturbingly familiar. Is it déjà vu, or something far more sinister? Every decision, every step, brings you closer to a solution… or deeper into this nightmarish dimension.
“The Liminal Dimension” draws inspiration from the latest trends in horror gaming, where liminal spaces become the stage for our deepest fears. As you explore these spaces, you will experience feelings of disorientation, confusion, and perhaps even a terrifying calm.
Incredibly Atmospheric: Liminal spaces that teeter on the edge of reality and dream, creating an immersive and eerie environment.
Déjà vu Effect: Every loop is slightly different, yet eerily familiar, heightening the sense of unease.
Linear Yet Unpredictable Gameplay: Traverse labyrinths where the boundary between past and present blurs, leaving you questioning what’s real.
Psychological Horror: Fear doesn't come from running from monsters or jumping scares - but does it really? In "The Liminal Dimension," you'll never be entirely sure if the horrors you fear are just in your head.
In Liminal Dimension, reality is not what it seems: During gameplay, you may experience an extraordinary phenomenon—a moment when time and space appear to shift, and your senses enter a state that is difficult to describe in words. One moment, everything feels normal, but suddenly, you'll sense the world around you slowing down, even though nothing has changed...
Will you find your way out, or will you be lost forever in “The Liminal Dimension”?

Alright. The Liminal Dimension is done and dusted. This is loosely an anomaly driven liminal spaces game that also features a splash of psych horror. It's also a very quick game. I find it unlikely that most people would need more than 30ish minutes to play through it. https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3736611345 The core premise is that you exit an elevator and end up in what is basically an endless set of hallways and doors that change periodically. The game tells you the exit signs are the key, but I can't say that was always the case. Often, just going in the opposite direction seemed to unlock the next sequence. Very occasionally, the game will open up a room in the hallways with another loop that must be overcome. Honestly, it all felt pretty random to me. Just doing the opposite of what you have been doing seemed to be enough to unlock the next phase quite often. Here and there, you will find notes from what is either you in the past, or someone else who had previously been trapped here. Not really sure which. The notes do start to develop some lore centered around a vague experiment. Additionally, you will encounter a phantom presence periodically, who will act sinister and give you some lore snippets as well. https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3736611402 That is pretty much the game. There is a foundation here for something that could blend liminal spaces with SCP, but it never becomes fully realized. And I would characterize the ending as anti-climactic. Taken as the first in a series of games, this could be an effective game for setting the table with the vagaries presented within, but I don't think that is the case here. Visually, it's pretty cool looking with some interesting changes to the set piece from time to time. And I think the audio is pretty effective in conveying a mood, so that's cool. Inexplicably, there is leaderboard for how long it takes to complete the game. That seems to lack any real purpose though other than as a simple curiosity. Beyond what I mentioned above, this game churns out achievements for no real reason. You get a cheevo dump when you hit a certain benchmark in the game. This is clearly done simply to add value for cheevo hunters and serves no real purpose beyond that. https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3736611256 IDK. I'm a bit conflicted with this game. On one hand, it never really realizes any creative vision fully. On the other hand, it doesn't really do anything disagreeable or bad per se. It's really just one of the games of all time, I guess. It exists and that existence isn't offensive, but it's very easily skipped without losing out on anything. I will say the $3.99 price tag is laughable. We're talking at most, 30 minutes of gameplay with zero reason to play it twice. The historical low price for this is 67 cents. If you see it for that, I'd say give it a look as a quick time killer game. I wouldn't recommend spending more. Boring, very padded out and uninspired thinly-veiled achievement printer.
sadece aynı yerde dönüyorsunuz baska bişey yok
its a 30 minute, repetitive game. Not really worth the dollar I spent when it was on sale. Its comparable to a gmod map.
the game was too much of just a walking simulator for me. i though there would be puzzles but not much of a puzzle if its the same solution each time. also the multi achievement thing was just obnoxious
This game is boring, the environment barely changes and it can really slog on in some areas. The story is just like not here with a lack of anything interesting to see. Only buy this if it's on sale and even then only if you really wanna try a game that should be free with how short it and uninspired it is.
It was a good hour of entertainment. I'm so angry that it's not longer. That means it was good
a weird little hidden gem, short and nice! outside of some screen tearing; the game runs pretty smoothly, and despite some questionable achievements: a nice liminal game
Really interesting concept. I would've liked for more content - it only took me 25 minutes. Still always good to see solo devs come out with original ideas.
