Shop Smart! Presence Lookout is a memory game with horror elements. You flick between camera feeds while memorizing the rooms and try to spot the 'anomalies' that appear throughout your shift from midnight until 6. If the anomalies start to pile up, your shift ends immediately and you lose. It's pretty fun, but it takes a couple tries to really get a lay of the land (for an average gamer like me at least, not a memory game aficionado). There's a setting called 'horror mode' which I immediately turned on when I started playing and haven't played without. Yes there are jumpscares, but they're used pretty sparingly and none of them have been what I would consider tacky. The worst case scenario in my head coming into this game was: "Okay I'm expected to just be staring at a screen, it sure would be a shame if this game was full of screamer jumpscares you'd see on old YouTube constantly." But there's none of that, at least not that I've seen. EDIT: Had a paragraph here addressing a few bugs, but a patch came out a day or 2 after my review. Huge props for that! So some quick bullet points about the game as somewhat of a TLDR:

2 maps to play on with more planned
4 difficulty levels for each (Normal / Hard / Very Hard / Insanity, I've only tried Normal and Hard so far and had fun)
[strike]Some bugs with lighting that typically come with indie horror games but are much harder to ignore in a game that's all about spotting things out of the ordinary.[/strike]
'Horror Mode' is a toggleable setting in the options that's actually off by default. I only played with it on and, as someone who's a tad picky over the use of jumpscares nowadays, I didn't run into any that ruined my fun. They're there for sure, there's static interference and whatnot, but it's part of the fun.
As someone who's not a puzzle game 'aficionado' but could be considered one for horror games, I've never seen a puzzle game like this, and I loved it, and I think it's smart and a lot of fun.
TLDR: Fun game, has some bugs, but it's a great idea for a horror game that's well executed overall - highly recommend you give it a try if you're looking for something fresh.
