In this first-person horror experience you will solve puzzles while navigating the pitch black Reed forest. Armed with only your flashlight you are at the mercy of the forests inhabitants, with limited time to find your way before they find you and end your adventure.

"Pregnant" yet another Unity asset flipped first person horror adventure, but this time the developer gave up on trying to get paid for someone else's Unity Asset Store assets and made it free. It's still pretty much no different from any of the thousands of other Unity asset flip horror adventures here on Steam. Wander around some Unity asset store assets in the dark, pick up some badly written notes, get jumpscared. The game graphics look better than you might expect, but that's just because it looks like some or all of them are "borrowed" from asset stores or wherever. Gamers can tell... and it comes across as insincere. There's also the old adage that those who lack the budget and talent to make their own game assets usually lack the budget and talent to do the rest of the job of game development properly, too. It's free... now, but it wasn't before. The developer was charging $5 USD for this. Price barriers, especially on low quality products, can be a direct cause of failure. It's a nice gesture for the game to be given away for free, but it also tells us that the game wasn't good enough to succeed as a paid product. Even though this is "free", it failed to appeal to the 120 million+ gamers on Steam. SteamDB showed the game peaked at only 4 concurrent players... this is a dismal public reception. This was so bad they couldn't even give it away. Bearing in mind that free games don't add +1 to your game collector count, should you bother adding this to your library and downloading it? Not this time. This isn't worth downloading. While this won't cost you any money, you get what you pay for, and sometimes, even when the game is free, it's still not enough.
scary scary scary not pregnant scary
Decent graphics and atmosphere, but boring, badly designed gameplay path. All you do is solve puzzles with notes that give you combinations to unlock chests, open chests and get more notes to find more chests to unlock. All before the time runs out and you get in danger of being "taken" in a really bad jerky apparition of a killer. Then you die and you need to reload your last chapter. There are 8 chapters available to load even before you unlock them in the game. I personally came to chapter 4 and gave up, I had zero fun, it's a dull horror game. Too much emphasis on puzzle solving, with the dev probably thinking how clever he is with the puzzles he implemented. But haven't got much of a touch for creating horror games, so he totally missed the point, in my opinion. He was probably inspired by the wrong kind of horror games, the ones that are frustrating and not fun at all. In conclusion, I don't think this is how a good horror game should be. And I did not enjoy playing it at all, and I do not recommend it... except if you're masochistic by nature and really love reading notes and solving dull puzzles.
