It's a very fun game
Very cool looking game, but some design and particularly gameplay choices just don't work. For example, many of the different enemy types look very similar, and the game gives them random skin colours so recognising them is very difficult. This is particularly annoying because the game otherwise does a great job colour coding the different types of characters. The gameplay gimmic of having four band members is an interesting idea, but unfortunatly doesn't really work because there is virtually no synergy between most of them, and some characters don't even synergise with themselves, which makes using them in a satisfying way impossible. I think I've finally cracked the game. It involves spamming one of Tora's starting cards over and over again, and just removing everything else I started with until the end game, where I can basically just kill anything in one tern.
Fun little deckbuilder with a good sense of humor. Sometimes RNGesus hates you but most runs can at least get through a boss or two while you unlock better cards, characters, gear, whatever for future runs. So you'll make progress even if you lose.
Honestly just play Slay the Spire. That is a better game than this. This game has a cool paint job but mechanically it's just a not as good Slay the Spire clone. Props to the developers here though, you can tell they really tried. The biggest problem with this game is: I actively ignore members of the party (I'm sorry "Band") so I can have a streamlined deck that does 1 thing really well as opposed to 4 things mildly okay. I got upset when the game added cards to my starter deck (as a reward for some reason) after a couple of runs because I wanted a small deck that could draw my good scaling cards. I'm sure you could fine some fun in this game but a better game is Slay the Spire. Which lets be honest here this game is attempting to mirror but just isn't as good.
Heavy metal games are sadly few and far between. Heavy métal Strategy even more so. This is probably the best one
Simply not enough content. Not 20 dollars worth.
Lost my save file for no reason. Fun game other wise
