POTENTIAL MAN

Oh yeah just so you know this game isn't an rpg. It's like. A novel with rpg elements i guess? It's quite a short game indeed, had me asking a few questions a bit too deep for my understanding a few times. I guess im inserting into my review too much but i should also say that the music is pretty good and i would probably buy it on steam if they release it here i mean even if they didn't i would still just gamerip it and throw into my music library that has like 10 other game soundtracks. I've also felt that the ending was quite out of nowhere like ok Spoiler warning but like idfk if i can spoiler text here but like [spoiler]Why did pontential man just kill him. I feel like a lot of the ending was pretty much avoidable if he either didn't say some things or just you know. Walked around him like i might be giving bad points but i feel like this was all avoidable. And it just felt out of nowhere.[/spoiler] I don't really know what to say about this im kinda on the edge here. And that's apparently the only ending here outside of refusing to do anything at the start of the game i guess. And like. I don't know?????????? i don't know what to do??????????? like whether to give this a good or bad review?????????? man im just gonna hope they add like. At least another ending. like at least one other where you [spoiler] Don't just kill him out of nowhere for like little to no reason because you pissed him off with your tree gibberish and now he won't leave this Very Perfect Spot On The Hill For A Tree To Grow™.[/spoiler] Like. Yea.......................

Frankly, I like the game. Short and worth the price, good music, jokes, animation, the likes. I'd recommend it, yes. My only complaint is that the end felt quite... jarring. Obviously I haven't done EVERYTHING I could possibly do in the game, it just felt like the entire game was us getting introduced to the main cast, only for that to be stripped away by such a cold ending. I'm actually surprised and impressed by the game having the balls to pull such a move and not have it be some phony fake-out. Either way, the quality was impressive and I hope to see more from the developers in the future.

a short little game, but concentrated with love and flavor. endearing from beginning to end, and awesome in a lot of ways i didn't expect. WONDERFUL soundtrack and art that is so fun to look at. i want to shake hands with murphy cashew

It's a fun game, even if a bit short. I just wish it had more than one ending.

Played this on steam deck, it ran very well. In terms of the game, if you're down for a short Visual Novel, then we highly recommend this game :3 we loved the characters, the topics explored, and the navigation of POTENTIAL and MAN, both it's heights and horrors! It terms of gameplay, minimal but serviceable, no glitches/bugs in our first playthough. Some goodies too for those who like to 100% things! Visuals have a nice art to them, and we think they help to service the story and it's themes pretty well! A joy to the eyes, especially the more goofy things :3 Overall, a solid 8/10 experience and once again we do recommend <3
