Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0/day in the week to Sep 3 → 0.14/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Polecam.
Potata: fairy flower is a colorful 2D puzzle-platforming adventure that favors atmosphere, exploration, and thoughtful environmental challenges over complicated mechanics. Developed and published by Potata Company, it follows a young witch named Potata on a journey through an enchanted forest where a seemingly personal problem develops into a much larger adventure. The game has the welcoming appearance of an illustrated fairy tale, but beneath that gentle presentation are platforming hazards, puzzles, enemies, secrets, and boss encounters that give the journey a respectable amount of variety. Its hand-drawn visual direction is easily one of the highlights. Forest environments are filled with oversized plants, unusual creatures, magical scenery, and richly illustrated backgrounds. The artistic style gives the world a distinctive personality without depending on realistic graphics or elaborate visual effects. There is an appealing storybook quality to nearly every location, making exploration enjoyable even during quieter stretches. Character designs fit naturally into this setting, especially Potata herself, whose youthful appearance reinforces the game's coming-of-age fantasy theme. Platforming forms an important part of progression, with players navigating obstacles, elevated pathways, dangerous terrain, and areas that require careful timing. The controls and overall structure are approachable, but the game is not completely effortless. Certain sequences demand greater precision and patience, creating occasional difficulty spikes that contrast with the otherwise relaxed tone. This can be slightly surprising considering the friendly presentation, although it also prevents the adventure from becoming too passive or predictable. Puzzle solving plays an equally significant role. Progress frequently requires players to examine their surroundings, understand environmental mechanisms, and determine how different elements interact. Some challenges offer more than one possible approach, which makes experimentation worthwhile. Rather than simply pushing the player along a single obvious path, the game encourages observation and curiosity. This design works particularly well with the exploration because unusual corners and less obvious routes may contain useful discoveries or secrets. Combat is relatively simple compared with the platforming and puzzle elements. Enemies appear throughout the forest and create additional hazards during exploration, while boss encounters provide larger confrontations at key moments. The fighting system is functional and accessible rather than mechanically elaborate. Players expecting extensive abilities, complex combinations, or deep character progression may find it limited, but combat serves its intended role without distracting from the adventure's stronger elements. Exploration provides additional incentive to move beyond the most direct route. Hidden treasures and secrets reward players who investigate suspicious areas instead of immediately advancing. Multiple endings also give the adventure some replay value and make completion feel more meaningful. Achievement hunters have further objectives to pursue, while Steam Cloud support is useful for maintaining progress between compatible computers. These features complement the game's relatively focused scale without artificially stretching the experience. The narrative remains lighthearted for much of the journey while still giving Potata a meaningful reason to continue. Her attempt to protect her home gradually becomes a story about responsibility, discovery, and growing beyond familiar surroundings. Characters encountered throughout the forest contribute humor and personality, keeping the tone from becoming excessively serious. The storytelling is straightforward rather than deeply cinematic, but it provides enough context to make the environments and challenges feel connected to an actual adventure rather than a sequence of unrelated stages. The soundtrack and overall presentation support the game's magical atmosphere. Much of its appeal comes from spending time inside its illustrated world, exploring at a comfortable pace and appreciating the scenery between puzzles and platforming sections. It is particularly well suited to players who enjoy indie games where mood and visual identity are just as important as mechanical complexity. The mixture of calm exploration and occasional demanding sections gives the experience a pleasant rhythm, although the transitions in difficulty are not always perfectly smooth. Steam Deck compatibility should be approached with some caution because the game does not have an official Valve Steam Deck compatibility rating listed. Its Windows-focused system support means Steam Deck users may need to rely on Proton, and functionality should not be interpreted as officially guaranteed. Given the game's relatively straightforward 2D design and controller-friendly style, it is the sort of experience that can potentially suit handheld play well, but players specifically purchasing it for Steam Deck should consider its official compatibility status unknown rather than Verified or Playable. The game's main weakness is that none of its individual gameplay systems are especially deep. Combat is basic, platforming is comparatively traditional, and the puzzles are generally designed around accessibility rather than extreme complexity. What makes the experience appealing is the combination of these elements within a cohesive fairy-tale world. Players searching for a hardcore precision platformer or sophisticated action game may find it too modest, while those who appreciate exploration, environmental puzzles, secrets, and charming presentation are much more likely to enjoy what it offers. Overall, Potata: fairy flower is a pleasant and visually distinctive adventure that succeeds through personality and variety. Its attractive hand-drawn world provides the foundation, while platforming, puzzles, hidden treasures, bosses, multiple endings, and light storytelling keep the journey moving. It may not dramatically reinvent the puzzle-platformer genre, but it offers a carefully presented experience with enough challenge and discovery to remain engaging. For players drawn to magical environments and smaller indie adventures that encourage curiosity rather than constant action, it is an easy game to appreciate. Rating: 8/10

Потатушка :З
Negative review.
Badly designed platform, with clunky story. Worst of all is that it isn't completely localized and the transition scenes had the naming still in Russian. I would have requested a refund but I bought the game on whim a year ago and thus the 14 day refund was not an option.
I'm not going to give this game a negative review, because it is lovely and fun, but it should be noted that the translation for this game is borderline nonsensical. At this point it would be a better game without any dialogue.
Potata is a cute puzzle platformer that is pleasant to play. I liked the variety of platforming and solving actual puzzles, though I'm aware there will be others who don't like having puzzles in their games. The soundtrack is lovely and the characters can be quite charming. It has a few flaws I can think of: 1. There are some typo or grammar mistakes with the English version 2. The transition/loading screens to the next areas are left in Russian except for the village one 3. The background story/lore is kind of thrown throughout the game through notes randomly 4. The ending or last levels felt slightly rushed The typo and English ones happen sometimes but not too often. What's said is often clear. The transition screens are only black screens with the names of the areas. You're not missing any other info. The third flaw felt a bit weird. No matter where you went, you saw notes scattered everywhere about the villagers. How did the notes end up in such dangerous areas? I did enjoy reading them for the most part. The fourth flaw is a bit personal perhaps. The ending felt sudden. It felt like there could have been more levels or a better way to end the game? All of the flaws mentioned are picky for the most part. I had a good time playing this. It wasn't challenging but it wasn't too easy either. If you like those kind of games, then it's worth trying. Especially when it's on sale. That's when I got it.
