Great game!
I think this is one of the best games that I have ever played. This game is the definition of TRUE customization. You can literally create and customize everything you want: skills, characters, weapons, dialogues, you can even create whole campaigns. The best part is that you can add your own textures almost to everything. If you like creating stuff like these, then this game is definetly worth a shot. Final rate 10/10
간단하게 즐길 수 있는 게임입니다
A lot of fun - and very funny especially if you remember the 80s-90s! If you like turn based strategy this is worth a try!
Es un juegazo
Seems like an amazing game that is impossible for most to play due to antivirus/firewall issues, I spent an hour trying to get the game past my tutorial end of run and could not, unfortunately I will have to refund I think. Guides have you digging thru files, deleting temp folders, making run property exceptions, I do all this and the problem just reoccurs, I can't tell if I actually have an antivirus blocking it, but I could be spending this time playing other games.
I Already put in a lot of hours making character.. I love this game,
Setting and humor kinda fell flat to me reading as kinda obnoxious and all over the place and the gameplay felt kinda shallow to me. Wasn't for me Revisited it, shouldn't have bothered. Steam workshop is an absolute mess
Popup Dungeon is an unusual and refreshingly ambitious title that refuses to fit neatly into a single genre. Developed by Triple.B.Titles and published by Balor Games, it blends tactical combat, roguelike progression, tabletop influences, and extensive user-generated content into one expansive experience. From the moment players enter its world, the game establishes itself as a tribute to imagination, offering a colorful papercraft presentation that makes every encounter feel as though it has sprung from the pages of a fantasy storybook. While many RPGs focus solely on delivering a scripted adventure, Popup Dungeon instead hands players the keys to an entire creative toolbox. The game's central premise revolves around climbing the mysterious Wizard's Tower, a place filled with bizarre scenarios and an ever-changing assortment of enemies. Narrated with personality and humor, the campaign carries a lighthearted tone that complements the game's visual style. What initially appears to be a straightforward dungeon crawler quickly evolves into something much larger, introducing science fiction settings, horror-inspired missions, and countless unexpected twists. The sheer variety of environments keeps the experience engaging, ensuring that players rarely feel like they are revisiting the same ideas repeatedly. Combat is built around tactical, grid-based encounters where positioning and preparation matter as much as raw power. Players can assemble parties from a large roster of characters and experiment with an enormous collection of abilities, equipment, and upgrades. The flexibility of the combat system is one of Popup Dungeon's greatest strengths, as it encourages creative strategies instead of forcing players into a handful of optimal builds. Whether commanding a traditional fantasy warrior, an eccentric hero of your own creation, or a bizarre combination of archetypes, every battle feels like an opportunity to test new ideas. The roguelike elements add additional replay value, making each run feel slightly different from the last. Perhaps the game's most impressive feature is its dedication to customization. Popup Dungeon includes a remarkably deep creation suite that allows players to design characters, abilities, campaigns, and entire adventures without requiring technical expertise. The tools are intuitive enough for casual experimentation while remaining powerful enough to support ambitious projects. This means the game can continually reinvent itself through community creations, extending its lifespan far beyond the included campaigns. In many ways, Popup Dungeon functions as both a game and a platform for aspiring storytellers and dungeon masters. There is also a staggering amount of content available from the outset. Multiple campaigns, hundreds of enemies, countless items, and an overwhelming number of skills provide enough material to occupy players for dozens, if not hundreds, of hours. Persistent progression systems offer a rewarding sense of advancement, while the availability of community-made adventures ensures there is always another challenge waiting around the corner. Players who enjoy experimenting with builds and uncovering hidden possibilities will find plenty to appreciate here. However, Popup Dungeon's greatest strength can also become its biggest obstacle. The sheer volume of mechanics and options can be intimidating for newcomers. Menus are dense, tutorials occasionally struggle to explain every system effectively, and the learning curve is steeper than many modern RPGs. Players searching for a simple pick-up-and-play experience may feel overwhelmed during the opening hours. Additionally, the papercraft art direction, while distinctive and memorable, will not appeal to everyone, especially those who prefer a more realistic or visually extravagant style. Despite these issues, Popup Dungeon remains one of the most creative and content-rich indie RPGs available. It succeeds not only as a tactical roguelike but as a celebration of player creativity, offering an experience that can continuously evolve through its community and customization tools. Triple.B.Titles has delivered a game that embraces experimentation and rewards curiosity at every turn. For players willing to invest time into learning its systems, Popup Dungeon offers an impressive blend of strategy, storytelling, and limitless possibilities that few games can match. Rating: 7/10
