I'm about halfway through right now and having a really good time with it. The whole game has this super chill vibe. The art style and sound effects fit the mood perfectly. The level design is solid, and my favorite thing is that you aren't forced down one specific path. Having multiple ways to actually finish a level adds a lot to the game and makes it feel way more open. If you're into easy, simple puzzles, you'll definitely love this one. Highly recommend it if you just want something relaxing to play!
The gameplay is simple, fun, and surprisingly addictive. Guiding a floating bear to collect delicious honey while avoiding obstacles creates the perfect mix of relaxing and challenging moments. Every successful honey grab feels rewarding, and it's hard to resist playing "just one more level." The colorful visuals, smooth controls, and the lighthearted atmosphere make this a great game for players of all ages.
Cute and relaxing puzzle game. The minimalist art style is charming, and the pool theme gives it a cozy atmosphere. Sliding around while avoiding hazards like whirlpools, sharks, and piranhas seems like a fun twist on classic movement puzzles. If you enjoy casual logic games with clean visuals, this looks worth checking out.
Got to level 100, and overall, it was pretty fun and challenging at times. Sometimes infuriating as well (totally not refering to level 94). The soundtrack fits the game quite well, and the game makes you think multiple steps ahead before making a move, making this a great game for all ages. Overall, strategies and pre-planning make this game quite special and somewhat makes you think before you make any moves. P.S. I hate the night levels haha~
Only completed the base game so far and almost half of the hard levels (which are basically the base game levels, but you usually also get a Piranha chasing you, either fast or slow). The base game is good, some levels are very easy, some a bit more challenging. Only a few of the last ones are really hard. I really like the game visually, the sounds are good too, love the puzzles. What I dislike, however, is the 10-level streak achievement which you can't get for already-completed levels. It does make sense, but I'd like to perhaps 100% the game so this is a real issue for me. The game crashed on me quite a few times, but that has been fixed by the dev which is great. The hard levels are.. well, really hard, I don't even know if some of them are possible to solve, I got to lvl. 50/100 I believe, but skipped like 3-4 so far since I just couldn't do them. It would be nice to have an auto-select for the hard levels as well so we don't have to keep on selecting which level we want to play each and every time we solve one if that makes sense. Overall, the game is decent and fairly priced I'd say!
What I enjoyed most in Poolar Bear is that every level feels like a small puzzle. You have to plan your moves carefully and think ahead, almost like solving puzzles in games like Cut the Rope. The obstacles and props are well designed, so it's not just about moving from one point to another- you need a strategy to complete each level efficiently. If you enjoy relaxing puzzle games that challenge your brain without being overly complicated, this is definitely worth trying. Also, the sound in the game are more relaxing and playful, which gives a cozy experience.
A very good hyper-casual puzzle game with cozy vibes. Good game to play while chilling. Even though the game is relaxing, the puzzles makes us stop on our tracks for a moment. The nighttime levels and the sharks combo even though frustrating amps up the challenge! Overall a nice package for a chilled out gaming session
