A rather mediocre puzzle platformer, the story is barely there yet overbearing towards the end in a way that feels unearned. Not really worth playing despite its short length. The devs however seem like good people and you should just go play their next game Change instead.
This game is like a Tesla - Under-engineered garbage.
Boring and tedious. My ratinng 3/10, not recommended.

Switching planes of action is an interesting mechanic and a nice take on a platformer. The semblance of a narrative seemed forced and inconsequential--providing the player with a decision for what seems only like a way to get people to play the last section twice. I would like to see more development on the core premise of the game. I dunno, 7/10. Pretty good and short.
I'm very stingy when it comes to giving down-votes. The game has to be borderline unplayable and/or lazily thrown together. I have a lot of beef with this game, but I can't bring myself to give it a thumbs down. I can see a lot of people liking it. The protagonist is cute, the retro graphics are cool and the background/foreground travel is neat. For me, that was about it. The story is very basic and the ending is predictable. Some of the levels had puzzle glitches that caused me to be permanently stuck somewhere, requiring me to go to the world map via the pause menu. Other times, I didn't even need a key to get past a gate. The movement mechanics are easy enough to exploit so that you can skip at least several of them, which I did. While the environments were very pretty and colorful, I frequently found my view obscured by various foreground images and was very annoying. Not to mention some of the moving blocks were drudgingly slow. Will I play it again? Perhaps. Mostly to achievement hunt, I'm sure, but the majority of them are earned just by completing the story, which takes only a couple of hours. This game was part of a personalized bundle for me. The other game I wanted was more expensive by itself than the bundle. So, it's like Steam paid me to get this. Another reason to not down-vote it. Basically, it's a retro puzzle platformer with lots of collectibles. If you like that sort of thing, then you'll enjoy this title.
This game is a jewel.
The game isn’t terrible, but it’s far from great. It feels like it’s missing a lot of things that could have made it more enjoyable. The story is weak and not very engaging and the ending was alright. The puzzles are pretty average, and the gameplay mechanics are honestly quite bad. One major issue is that the platinum trophy is currently unobtainable due to a bug with the “Collect ‘em All” achievement. In some levels, it’s impossible to gather all the powercells. That said, the game does have some positives. The art style is great and really stands out, and the soundtrack is excellent, adding a lot to the overall atmosphere. Overall, it’s not a very good game, and I wouldn’t recommend it 4/10.
