First steam game of Gridlock Interactive at steam. A new creative puzzle idea, that works fantastic and is really hard challenging your brain to get every star in this game. The developer support the game very well (adding steam trading cards after request in no time, really friendly). The game is tough and can take you for many hours, if you dont give up. If you stuck you pick up a solution from the achievement guide. The arkade mode is really tough number, thats for absolutly fast reaction hardcore gamers to get the best highscore. The price is a bit high, get it with discount or support this amazing developer. I only missed a few more achievements (NOT ARKADE MODE, just more steps achievements in the normal game mode, but i am happy and fine with 9 and hope for a 2nd part, that is still makeable to do all achievements). So i give for puzzle fans 87%, for normal gamer 55 %. Thx 4 reading. https://store.steampowered.com/app/450650/Polyology/

Having completed 37.8% of the game in 20 minutes I think I am ready to review it. If you can see the screenshots you know this isn't a game that will stand on its graphics, though the movement and animation do look very smooth so If you can watch the trailer and think it looks like your kind of game, buy it. When I play a simple puzzle game like this what I look for is unique elements. Though sliding blocks around isn't new, each set of stages adds a new type of block that changes the rules just enough to keep things interesting. It plays well, is challenging but not too difficult, controls smoothly, the music is good, and there are achievements and cards to go for too. Definitely worth grabbing on the next sale for any puzzler fan.
Polyology is a simple little puzzle game in which you push blocks around, to join each other in the least number of possible moves. The puzzles get harder as you level up. A good game to exercise your mind. It has a fun little avatar, so that's all good. Although the design may look simple, don't be fooled - as many of the puzzles are definitely not simple. A good game for some puzzle fun. Go on and try it. P.S. It looks like this is the first review of this game on Steam. Nice one. Where's my prize? :-)
A very nice puzzle game, with cards and achievements. Lots of different modes, even though it manages to stay minimalistic and have its own unicity. Overall, there aren't so many "block pusher" puzzles that shine over the others.. many of them are just copies or too easy, while this one is long and quite challenging. Very recommended for puzzle lovers!
This is a nice little game. The interface is simple, but effective and clear. The puzzles are well thought out, and get more difficult to the point where you really have to work at it. They also managed to hit the sweet spot where there are enough puzzles to keep you occupied, but not so much that the game gets repetitive. Once you've finished the main puzzles, arcade mode offers a lot of extra playtime, although the random element does put more `dammit' moments into the game, and the interface works less well under high-speed play. Recommended.

The best block pusher I played since Sokoban (1988). Has a very fine options menu including resolution options and rebindable keys, feels overall well made, plays very well, everything feels perfectly responsible, sweet soundtrack, has neat mechanics ideas for puzzles, smooth difficulty curve. And most of all, it wants you to have fun while twisting your brain, has a non-punshing step-by-step rewind function, don't have to find the perfect solution every time... but if you want to challenge your creative thinking... :) I was very positively surprised. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Xuv3fGLqdzE ("Every level has 3 objectives try and achieve" <- There's a little spelling error ;))
Tags: Casual - Sokoban Additional Tags: Delete Local Content & Remove from Library TLDR: Bubble-matching sokoban hybrid. Would prefer to play Into the Breach for a grid-based puzzle-like game with strict solutions. I have a saturation of puzzle games that use hex grid and simple movements. Such as object routing games or sokoban games. I am trying ot keep the ones that have an art direction, a story, a twist on the mechanics or something else to help them stand out. This used to qualify due to the slight matching block mechanic required for progression but ultimately there are too many games that do the bite sized puzzle thing better and I would rather see this removed permanently for deluclutter. It was just a bundle filler phone port anyways. https://store.steampowered.com/app/590380/Into_the_Breach/ https://store.steampowered.com/app/448530/Squares_Route/
