Poly Bridge 3 is an amazing little bridge building simulator that I had the amazing opportunity to create art for. I hope you guys have as much fun playing as I did. 6.5 / 10
This is a fun bridge building game, sandbox mode is the best part of the game in my opinion, It could benefit from a 3d aspect because large trusses can look goofy. The campaign mode is a puzzle game. The game could use an automated traffic flow system where cars and trucks constantly drive over the bridge, which would increase realism.
A bridge. It connects point A to point B In this game, you build a bridge that brings car 1 from A to B to C while collecting D, moving out of the way of E, all while bringing car 2 from C to X to L have fun bridging!
I LOVE THIS SO MUCH. fun to play for well, forever.. plus, using the creative mode thing you can make so much stuff!
im a civil person now
I didn't finish the game, mostly because I don't have the brain capacity for it. The game constantly reminded me of that too. I'd finally complete a level using what I thought was the absolute minimum amount of materials, only to find out I was still ranked in the bottom 1%. To be fair, there are a lot of creative ways to solve each puzzle. Unfortunately, I don't have the patience to experiment for hours. Make a tiny millimeter adjustment on one end of the bridge, and suddenly the vehicle behaves completely differently on the other end and doesn't even reach the part you were trying to fix. One thing I really missed from the first game was the stress visualization. It colored the building materials based on how much load they were under, making weak points easy to spot. Here, the bridge just collapses, and afterward the game only shows one piece that snapped. That means you're constantly making tiny adjustments, testing again, and repeating the process until it finally works. For some reason I own the first and this game, but not the second one, so I can't really compare the whole series. Overall, though, it's a solid game. You'll get plenty of playtime out of it, and if you enjoy these type of puzzles, it'll definitely make your brain tingle.
