Step into Grandma’s slippers and wreak havoc in this physics-driven comedy where nothing stays under control—and that’s exactly the point. Fart, flop, and fumble your way through a home that refuses to behave.

About
You’re Grandma. You’ve got a to-do list, a surprise babysitting gig, and absolutely no idea what's going on. That’s a dangerous combo.

🍳 Chores! Like taking out the trash. Or summoning... something
🌀 2D minigames that get real weird, real fast
🏠 Three areas full of things you probably shouldn’t touch
👀 A bunch of bizarre characters who may or may not be human
🧓Be a Grandma on the edge (of understanding what’s happening)
🍼 Babysitting?! Technically, yes. Is it going well? No.

In Grandma, No!, you’ll wobble through three sandbox-y areas, poke everything that looks pokeable, and try to get stuff done-until it explodes, runs away, or turns into a sentient sandwich. Each “simple” task turns into a ridiculous 2D minigame, followed by more wandering, more weirdness, and more characters who definitely need therapy.
Taking out the trash may lead you somewhere unexpected, and cooking dinner could end up with more fire than flavour. Just when things start to calm down, BOOM — something weirder crashes the party.
No big quests. No emotional arcs (well, maybe one). Just raw, chaotic Grandma energy.

Surprisingly annoying. I was at worst expecting to just think this game is ok, but I was disappointed that I just didn't enjoy it in the end. The gameplay itself is fine, but feels a bit limited compared to other "go in a room and just do stuff" sandbox games. It mainly amounts to just go around breaking stuff. Grabbing and using items can feel annoying, but not so annoying that it feels like it's intentional, but just enough to matter when you're trying to do something specific. There's only 3 rooms, and each is pretty small. The big sticking point will be the humor though. If it's your kind of thing you'll probably enjoy this, but it unfortunately did not hit for me at all. Whenever there is a joke, it just keeps going and going until you're just waiting for the game to let you play again. Everything tries way too hard to be quirky and it just feels really forced. Lots of vomiting and poop jokes too, I didn't really like it but I was able to ignore it for the most part.
Зачётная бабуля)))
Disappointing
I hate leaving bad reviews for indie games that clearly had passion behind them but I just did not think that was a good game and really didn't enjoy my time with it. First off, it's extremely short for the price, even on sale. I beat the game in an hour and that was while doing some of the side content as well. There's probably another 2 hours of content tops that I didn't do, and that was because I just didn't find the gameplay that interesting. Most of the game is just running around these small rooms doing Among Us tasks, and they're far too simple. Some of them are kind of funny but most are just whatever. That's actually my biggest issue with this game, the humor just didn't connect with me. It's a lot of just being random for being random and poop and vomit jokes. At least every 10 seconds, Grandma is either farting or throwing up everywhere and it got very boring, very fast. The rest of the gameplay is interacting with the environment doing random things like making toast, cutting down grass, or finding all of some kind of object in the room. These were very repetitive, and just did absolutely nothing for me. After I finished the main objectives, I tried doing the bonus ones but just couldn't bring myself to finish them because they didn't interest me or entertain me at all. I think this is a great premise for a game but the ideas needed to be more fleshed out and expanded upon. After the first 10 minutes I had already seen everything the game had to offer me. I love games like this. Is it immature? For sure. Is it rough around the edges? Definitely. But what you have here is an indie physics game created by a small team with a lot of heart and huge influence from Ren and Stimpy. It's dumb, it's crass and it was the perfect length before it overstayed its welcome. I loved my short time with this game.
Dedicated vomit button
Imagine an old lady falling down the stair whilst farting and vomiting. If that thought amuses you, this game may be for you. This is a game, where you play as an old lady, walking around 3 different rooms, messing around with everything and through that discover funny interactions. Whether or not you'll enjoy that, depends mainly on whether or not you'll enjoy the humor of this game. A lot of the humor is crude slapstick stuff. I played this with my kid, and we had a great time for 2-3 hours. The game does not overstay it's welcome. The controls are a bit janky, the graphics and music is fine. If you do play this, don't stop when the main tasks are done, the real game begins after those.
funny, silly and goofy. worth a try!
Grandma, No! is a weird and unique little game packed with slapstick and toilet humor, but it’s also surprisingly charming. The characters and writing are funny and memorable, and the puzzles are clever enough to make you stop and think without getting frustrated. As an adult, I had a lot of fun with it and found myself laughing pretty often. It really does a great job of grabbing your attention and keeping it. My four-year-old absolutely lost it playing it and watching me play this game. He thought it was the funniest thing ever, and honestly, hearing him repeatedly laugh made Grandma, No! easily worth the price. I also had zero performance issues playing on the LED Steam Deck and redeemed the game via a key for $3.50
