About
Pole vaulting in real life is both difficult and dangerous
Not unlike this game
POLE VAULT is a precision platformer where you play as a stretchy newt. The newt's passion for pole vaulting lets them launch high into the sky. Vault your way to the top of the tower to achieve victory. In POLE VAULT, you'll climb up a single, huge tower. You can expect your performance to be evaluated when you reach the apex.
The end of your pole is a cursor that you control. Drag your pole into the ground while moving, time your release, and be sent flying through the air. Catch yourself on the edges of platforms. Pogo bounce directly from a fall to maintain the highest speed.

Pole Vault is a foddian game in which you move with wasd, and control a pole with your mouse when holding click(or joystick left to move and right for pole). The pole angle will decide where you jump and the momentum will decide how high or far you do. Once you master the control, you can chains a lots of jump together. The level design is a bit bland, the platform are either square, circle, or triangle, and doesn't have an intuitive teaching methods through the design. However, the design circle around the tower in the middle, and there is 4-5 copy of it, so when falling, you won't lose too much progress which is nice. The audio, animation and visual are pretty nice and i would definitivly recommend the game for amateur of easy to learn, hard to master game
The environment is stunning - and even so, the game runs flawlessly! Gameplay is simple, but hard to master. A bit frustrating at first, but something about it is so addictive that I just wanted to keep going and eventually I got decently good, lmao. Anyway - it's a fun little challenging game!

Nice
Amazing game, I love the gameplay, the mechanic is so cool, and the graphic art is AWESOME <3 <3 <3
I'm just giving a positive review because this game is very unique and beautiful, small indie team deserves the support. i'm sorry but this game is not really fun imo, compared to other games like "getting over it" or "chain together", the mechanic works a little bit but for a small platform it doesn't make any sense, you might just Pogo jump around and you can get stuck pretty easy under the platform. this game is really beautiful but the music is very repetitive and it gets annoying really quick, some platforms are just simple shapes and their design are just boring. i know this game is like one of those "difficult games about going up" but the devs really need to balance the difficulty, the platforms are too far and too small to do a "Pole vault", i'm doing more Pogo jumps than Vault. i hope the devs read this and balance the game and add more updates in the future.
great time, I really enjoyed the atmosphere and buoyancy, I often have dreams where I am lunging in slow gravity in my sleep, and this feels very similar to that. It is like no other game i've seen, very creative
Really great entry into the Foddian game genre. The dynamic music as you climb upwards is a nice touch and the circular nature of the map allows smooth recovery upon falling down. Having sensitivity settings for each type of mouse movement is helpful for dialing in player comfort. Highly recommend if you like a game with a challenge.
This is a small yet challenging and fun climbing game that uses pole jumping. The jumping mechanism is not overly complex, so once you understand it, you can use it smoothly and efficiently. The map design is not brutally difficult, but in some parts, you need to carefully plan and execute challenging jumps. The visuals and audio are beautiful and mesmerizing. Overall, the game offers a satisfying challenge while immersing you in a beautiful and captivating atmosphere.
This is a fun game. It's short and appropriately priced. Great for an afternoon, especially if you like games like "Only Up" or "Getting Over It with Bennet Foddy". It's a challenging mechanic in a beautiful atmosphere. The world is unique, the art is beautiful, the sound is immersive. Each part of the experience feels nicely tuned and aesthetically pleasing. I'd definitely recommend it.
this game is really fun to play!
