The Lost Marble

Simple platformer, but good. There's a decent amount of weight and momentum to your movement that makes the movement feel satisfying.

Okay so I enjoyed this game a whole lot. I totally recommend this to anyone into the marble game genre. it's pretty hot and it needs more reviews gosh-darn!

I have followed this project of Jebcow's since the early stages of development, and am stoked it was finally released! Kudos to Jebcow for being a responsive developer always seeking constructive criticism as he focuses on his projects, we need more developers like you. This game is really fun, though it is short with only 20 levels, this is remedied by the level editor feature and Workshop support so you can create levels and play other people's levels which I found to be really neat and can lead to some serious creativity. The UI is really clean. The music blends well with the gameplay. There is both keyboard and controller support, and I have tested and enjoyed playing with both. The mechanics are finely tweaked, the physics particularly are quite smooth. Some of the levels have pretty punishing obstacles, though there are plenty of checkpoints to make up for it. The red box enemies on some levels can be a bit frustrating, but you can easily out-think them if you observe their behavior. I really liked the parkour on par with the fast-paced levels, as well as the mini puzzles the game offers. I can see myself playing through the 20 levels again, especially considering I'm missing a few secret marbles! Overall, this project was a very enjoyable experience and I hope some very creative players come across the Level Editor. I definitely recommend!

This is a good game and I would recommend it if you enjoy marble games for sure.

Challenging but rewarding platformer with some awesome music ;)

This game is really fun, just feels really good to play. It's highly centered around speedrunning, when you start trying to beat the levels as fast as possible then it really shines. Plus its got a level editor so that's pretty neat.

This game is an absolute masterpiece of marble storytelling. It portrays the life, death, and intricate miseries that accompany being a marble lost in a vaporwave hellscape, as well as the mental fortitude required to survive in such a rigorous puzzle solving world, with no known borders or friendly faces to see along the way. It is simply you, a marble, versus the intricate machinations and puzzles placed against you by a god-like puzzle master who must be incredibly handsome and deviously good looking, so much so that I need to give this review a fair and honest trail. Pros: Fun to break the game, even so much so when the developer greatly encourages all new ways to break the game Greatly rewards exploration and fast/loose gameplay Each level allows you to explore different aspects of the mechanics of the game Round ball is round Cons: Very slippery (yes you're a marble but still) Not enough skins Developer is simply too handsome and friendly and awesome and lovely and doesn't update the game enough

6/10 Is an okay marble/ball platformer for $1 (when 80% off). A bit janky and not that many levels.

Me encantan éste tipo de juegos desde la época del marble madness. Es ciertos aspectos es como una versión mejorada del fenomenal Spindizzy. Descubrí éste juego por casualidad en un video de youtube. Debo decir que por un lado me ha encantado. Creo que es el juego de éste tipo en el que el movimiento de la bola está mejor logrado y he probado unos cuantos. Por otro lado lo veo incompleto. Tan sólo 20 niveles. He estado buscando niveles creados por los usuarios y no he encontrado ni uno. Si te gustan éste tipo de juegos pruébalo. Aún con sus carencias por su precio merece la pena
