I've been looking for a service like this that would allow me to host Texas Poker games so I could play with my friends, I think it's a very fun concept. I currently love this game as it is and would recommend it to anyone who has a few friends they can play with. If I would give suggestions though, I would suggest adding options for localhosting just in case the game's cloud servers go down, and allow people to change the game's ui and sound client-side, since the game's default ui's and sounds may not be for everyone's taste.
I really enjoy this game. You invite friends, send them a link, and play. If you bought the game, your friends or other players do not need to own the game to access the table. This functionality is amazing, and I really appreciate it. It helps get players on the same page without requiring everyone to be on the same platform or using the same copy of the game. I tested this with a friend: he was on a phone, I was on PC, and the game functioned flawlessly. I give this game a 10/10 because it is a breath of fresh air compared to other poker games on the market. Most other games try to sell you their own currency, make it difficult to invite friends, or do not let you create your own rules. This game solves all of those issues. With all that being said, I give the game a 10/10 compared to other games and its peers, but there are some features I really wish were included. #1: I really wish we could add bots to games. I enjoy playing with people I know, but I do not know enough people who enjoy poker to fill a full table. In this game, I would need to search for random players or friends of friends to have a decent table, which is definitely a downside. #2: I saw this mentioned in another review, but having the option to self-host your own server would be incredible. When the game servers inevitably go down, players could still use the functionality the game provides by self-hosting. #3: Options in game for volume, sound/options. Not everyone is going to want to hear loud dings all the time, especially if someone is playing on their phone in a public place. This would be a useful option instead of having to disable your entire audio. All in all, I am really thankful for this game. You can tell it was created with a player/gamer focus and not as a cash-grab gambling simulator. Its simple, but effective. If you're looking for a game to host an online poker game among friends, this is the option I would recommend, only one person needs the game, send the link to your friends, have a good time. Thanks for a great game
