Like this studio's other game, Stilt Fella, gravity is the main enemy, and the game play involves awkward movements and careful timing and motion control to make progress. It's a little tricky to pick up at first, but it gets easier or at least more natural as you go. Also like Stilt Fella, it has a nice progression of levels that continue to be creative. Basically if you liked Stilt Fella, then you'll like this. Someone mentioned that you can use a keyboard and mouse controls. While that's true, I really recommend using a controller. The core of the game is quick & careful rotation mid-air, and I find it so much easier to do that with my thumb than my whole wrist.
Just 15 minutes into the final version, but I've played some of the earlier versions of the game. I'm not particularly good at physics-based games, and as as result I tend not to be a huge fan- POGOPPL, though, is one that's easy to pick up and learn how to play, but tricky to perfect. The buildup of difficulty in the levels is nicely done, and the game oozes '90s shareware-style charm. It's the kind of game where you might have found the first 20 levels on a cover disk and then you spent the entire weekend trying to get gold on all of those levels.

A skill-based physics game with elements of OlliOlli and Bennett Foddy's classic Pole Riders. Super high skill ceiling - I don't know if I'll ever get close to beating all 70 levels - but I don't mind because the basic act of pogoing is so enjoyable. Nothing feels better than pulling off a casual flip into a railslide just for the fun of it! This is an impressively deep and masterfully tuned game from what I believe is a solo indie dev. Play it!
POGOPPL is a fun physics puzzle game with awesome original pixel art graphics. The levels are fun and addictive, yet extremely hard for a casual pogoist. For a fan of physics based games, this is quite original take on true and tested genre. Highly recommended.
Very addictive, the battle mode is great. Some improvements could imo be made to make the story mode/levels even more enjoyable: It would be good to make getting up from lying down a bit faster because now it's easier to just restart the level than trying to get up and jumping again... but I could try to Pogo better instead If you're more than one person playing a level it would be better if you could move past each other, it's not fun when you keep messing each other up when bumping into one another. It's good that you can skip a level if you want to, hopefully I can do it more than once later on haha Otherwise it's enjoyable when you get the hang of it! Thank you!
Impressive. I'm not surprised since it's from the developer of Stilt Fella, but still didn't expect to like it so much. It's a skill based game that focuses on precision, but thankfully, doesn't have a huge leves where you can fall all the way back to the start, like in Getting Over It. Instead, the levels are short and time based with leaderboards. There are 70 of them, plus some extras like PvP levels and workshop content. Easy to learn, hard to master as people like to say, yet the gameplay is smooth enough to keep it from being frustrating to the point of quitting. There are also accessibility options to make it easier. I might end up using them myself, since it's getting tough and I’m not even halfway through. I recommend it. There’s even a demo if you want to try it out and see for yourself. Great game. Its hard but fair, there´s a crazy amount of content, a level editor, whatnot. BUT I want to point out, its got this Pogo Kombat mode where you can fight with friends, and its singlehandedly the best fighting game there is.
Super cool game. Nice physics based mechanics to learn that you don't find in any other game. Easier than Stilt Fella (one of the previous games from September Games) but trying to get a good time on each level is more fun. I really gotta try making some levels with the level editor.
This game rocks. It feels like I'm playing the original Olli Olli again. Get it.
