PLEASE PLAY POCKET BRAVERY!!! This game is EXTREMELY under-appreciated. Each character has a unique design and moves that feel wildly different from one another. The Elemental mechanic is simple, but allows you to do some pretty cool stuff once you learn the proper timing. Combo Factory is a really cool mode I haven't seen done in many other games, but this one goes in depth by having you set how long you want the computer to wait before performing a move. And, unlike a lot of other fighting games, it has a coherent story to follow that ends in a satisfying way. No spoilers, but Nuno and Hector aren't simple protagonist and antagonist as they seem. This game is sick and it's crazy how they're still pumping out DLC.

Enough content for single player content with a good story, additional modes and good to learn for newcomers with training. This game is more similar to KoF. Not a button masher. Good pixel art and animations,very well done,not too flashy. Nice characters. Every character plays different and have different playstyle,so everyone will find one for themselves. The biggest caveat is playerbase not huge,compared to the mainstream games. But if you manage to find someone to practice or play from time to time-it's a good time. Developers are nice,working and improving the game,also adding additional content like new chaaracters with stages.

Pocket Bravery ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Un excelente juego de pelea con un estilo visual encantador y una jugabilidad muy sólida. Los personajes son variados, los combates son rápidos y el sistema de juego es fácil de aprender pero con mucha profundidad para quienes buscan dominarlo. Es una gran carta de amor a los clásicos del género. ¡Totalmente recomendado!

Este jogo é um marco e um presente à comunidade gamer brasileira. Homenageia em sua mecânica os arcades de luta (Especialmente os da SNK) que tornavam bares e lojinhas de bairro em pontos de encontro de aficionados, disputando ficha a ficha ou apenas olhando e torcendo pelos seus jogadores favoritos. Já a estética e a música enaltecem a interculturalidade do Brasil com outros países. Quase todos os continentes estão representados (faltou Oceania?) em cenários, trajes e até na personalidade dos lutadores, sempre com respeito e buscando se afastar de traços estereotipados. Todo jogador BR tem a obrigação de possuir Pocket Bravery na biblioteca como forma de incentivo à indústria gamer nacional e também por ser um marco de uma nova era de criadores brasileiros.

I already despise in-game purchases in general. Sure, continue to develop your game, make profit out of your work, but I shouldn't pay to see a storefront. Having to see the dlc characters that you didn't purchase yet, with a little shopping cart icon, on the character select screen is just total b*****. There's a reason I don't touch free to play games. This should be forced to a 18+ rating and I wish no one supported these practices. I don't like reviews that aren't actually reviewing how good the game is, but I can't avoid it in this case. I was glad to see a fighting game from a smaller developer and really appreciated the “pocket” look they went for here. But... no!

I'm a novice to fighting games but I've been playing alllllll the new indies. This one in particular really feels like it hammers the fundamentals into your head. I think it'll make you better at fighting games, and it's super fun to boot!
