Prepare your right ear cause you gonna hear sounds from one speaker only! Rather mediocre sequel to once great indie shooter. Everything is somehow worse than in the first game except the visuals which stay the same. On top of that levels take forever to complete. To summarize just play original Platypus - not this one. Well, since most of the audience, either old or new, met Platypus 2 after Platypus 1, I'll give my opinion with comparison to Platypus 1. Basically, this part was made to earn more money on the success of Platypus 1. Since the game looks cartoonish because of its clay-styling, the publisher decided to make it primarily for children, and the game desicions were based on what the audience usually expects. The difficulty was the main change. Platypus 1 was made around your skill of instant planning how to destroy unexpected enemies flying at you and dodge their projectiles. The random of shooting probebility and enemy spawn was really good. Platypus 2 provides you with sequences of situations where developers predict to which part of the screen you may fly and make you catch bullets or crush into enemies if you do like that. Besides, the difficulty doesn't have any kind of gradation. Most of the situations repeat over and over. Boss of the World 3 is a bunch of patterns of flying across the screen. Sometimes it abuses its off-screen position to annoy you. A set of new assets doesn't look that suprising. Most of them were created for World 5 and its design is horrible. I hate World 5 and I don't feel like playing it. Yeah, they were taken for Nux, but here they're misfits. The background lost its magic. Even though, it still looks cool, it stopped taking the player's attention and interacting with it. It still spoilers some upcoming enemies, but the player doesn't create a suspense to himself. The level selection screen was definitely made before the level backgrounds, because it doesn't always match what you expect. The soundtrack primarily remixes existing tunes and it sounds less appealing comparing to Platypus 1. I'd say, World 3 music is new and it's the best tune of all present. 6/10. Play Platypus 1 instead!
Yeah, I really loved Platypus 1, and I simply can't recommend this one. Get the first one. This one has technical issues (crashes, audio only coming from right ear), worse artwork, worse music and worse level design. It's not terrible, but I'd recommend to not waste time. Play Platypus 1.
Gameplay and visuals are obviously dated but both seem passable. However, broken controller support and audio only coming out of the right speaker are enough for me to uninstall this after two minutes.

我记得在某个网络报纸附赠的光盘里玩了这个游戏,我跟哥哥两个人,真的很好玩,而且橡皮泥的画风很有意思,童年回忆了属于是
