About
A planet that used to be a place of undisturbed balance between human, nature, and animal has now become something else entirely.
The disharmony that had been in the making for hundreds of years has finally arrived in the form of a faceless army. But this is not a story about war. This is a story about a vibrant, beautiful planet –and the journey to keep it that way.

Short and sweet, Planet of Lana is a puzzle platformer along the lines of Limbo or Inside. It has a cozier, more beautiful aesthetic than either of those games but unfortunately also lacks some of their depth of gameplay. Narrative: There is no dialogue (written or spoken), and thus the entire narrative is told via the gameplay. It is a decent story despite this limitation but the same general plot that one would expect from this sort of game (army of "evil" robots that you need to sneak by/outwit in order to save yourself, your cat, and your town). Puzzle Difficulty: A bit of a letdown. At first, the game teaches you a variety of puzzle solving and platforming skills for your main character via several initial puzzles. Soon, you are introduced to your little cat-like friend Mui who adds a variety of new skills of his own. It seems like you will be getting some bigger, more complicated puzzles to solve after learning all these skills but you never really do. The game continues to add a few more skills (mostly via Mui) to your puzzle solving toolkit but never presents you with a sufficiently complex puzzle to use them on. Even the most complicated ones are usually solvable in 5-6 steps. Controls: the game recommends that you use a controller so I used my Xbox controller. This felt like a mistake at times. Possibly the controls were just a bit clunky regardless, but there were some movements that felt very awkward using a thumbstick. Noticeably, directing your companion to stand in a certain spot was incredibly finnicky but appeared as if it would be simple using a KB&M. But, for the most part, these complaints were mild. Music and Visuals: Honestly, this is where the game really shines. The world is really beautiful and the score compliments it well. There were a few odd musical cues that suggested there was a danger that never actually materialized. But otherwise, the score was very impressive. My overall impression was of a charming, short game that perhaps didn't live up to its inspirations. However, it showed a lot of promise and if you enjoyed games like Inside or Limbo but wanted a less oppressive atmosphere then Planet of Lana is a good choice. While it is perhaps not as fleshed out as some of those predecessors, the bones of it give me a lot of hope for its sequel. It's a pleasing way to spend a single afternoon and I recommend it so long as you buy it on sale.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 22 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,513 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Don't feel compelled to keep playing. Take this with a grain of salt, but the first 30 minutes are: - Full of unskippable cutscenes - Endless tutorialization that never ends - Pressing the stick to the right to rather slowly move forwards - Some mindless puzzles that don't require you to think, but are still awkward due to the lackluster "realistic" controls (your character has momentum, or rather lack thereof, when you try changing directions, and climbs slowly), so any enemy encounter is "wait, wait, wait, do a thing, hide again, wait, wait, wait, do another thing, rinse, repeat. And if you get spotted at any point in the process, you get to do it all from the beginning. It's just an exercise in frustration. It's Limbo minus the oppressive art style and the more interesting puzzle mechanic. Or Inside. It's pleasing to look at, the art team did a great job. The story, as it is, is told without words. The game isn't overly long, 4 to 5 hours to beat according to the internet. For that the price is rather high. Maybe for 5 to 10 bucks this is worth it if you're really desperate for this kind of game. Laaaanaaaa! Iiiiiibo! Bah.
A Heartfelt Adventure Through a Silent World Planet of Lana is a masterpiece of storytelling, proving that words are not always needed to convey deep emotion and narrative. The game’s ability to weave a compelling and touching story without traditional dialogue is nothing short of impressive. The bond between the protagonist and her loyal companion unfolds in a way that feels organic and immersive, pulling you into their world with every step. The puzzles are a standout feature—thoughtfully designed and satisfying to solve. Each challenge feels like a natural part of the journey, rewarding players with a sense of accomplishment as they progress. The game strikes a perfect balance between exploration, problem-solving, and emotional engagement, making it a joy to experience. For the child in all of us, Planet of Lana is a reminder of the magic of discovery and the power of connection. It’s a story that lingers in your heart long after the credits roll, a testament to the beauty of simplicity and the universal language of emotion. A must-play for anyone who values a rich, atmospheric adventure.
Great game... The atmosphere, the artistic design mixed with the music. Very immersive and extremely intuitive. Loving the story line so far, it's the kind with little to no dialogue but you know exactly what's being said. And I'm barely an hour in. Highly recommend, looking forward to playing the second one. It's like Limbo meets War of the Worlds meets Atreus for a sidekick.
Good and fun relaxing game. No nasa computer needed. Potato pc can probably run this game.
可能是游戏玩得多了,对这样较为单一的横轴闯关玩法已经没太大兴趣了;不过游戏的画风实在是非常漂亮,作为一个休闲小游戏玩还是可以的。
Great game, I loved the visuals. The soundtracks were impeccable. I can't wait to play the second game. Keep up the good work you guys rock!
Bacana. Se tivesse um filho(a) daria pra ele(a) jogar.
