About
A planet that used to be a place of undisturbed balance between human, nature, and animal has now become something else entirely.
The disharmony that had been in the making for hundreds of years has finally arrived in the form of a faceless army. But this is not a story about war. This is a story about a vibrant, beautiful planet –and the journey to keep it that way.

Super gra.

Planet of Lana is one of those games that grabs you from the first minute and never lets go. Everything about it feels handcrafted, the art, the music, the world, the characters and the whole experience hits you with a mix of beauty and pure adrenaline. The game starts calm, almost peaceful and then suddenly you’re sprinting through forests, dodging robots, sneaking past machines, and solving puzzles while your heart is pounding. And the best part It’s not just action for the sake of action. Every intense moment feels meaningful. The bond between Lana and Mui makes every escape, every jump, every close call feel personal. When you’re solving puzzles together or sneaking past enemies side‑by‑side, you feel that connection. The game uses music and atmosphere so well that even quiet moments feel powerful. And the vibes are PEAK Its also better to play at night. PLAYYY IT NOWWWWWWWW
An unusually bright Limbo/Inside-like (if you could consider that a genre, it feels applicable here). The star of the show is the idyllic scenery, which is a shame, because that's the part you could just enjoy from screenshots alone. The actual game ends up with occasionally sluggish pacing and too much repetition. Beside the less gloomy environments, I could see Planet of Lana's other additions to the Playdead formula, i.e. quick time events and commanding a cat creature to help you overcome obstacles, being appealing, but I found the adventure to be a just slightly above average experience.
A slow paced, visually beautiful puzzle platformer in the vein of limbo and inside. I wanted to like this game but ultimately I did not have a good time with it. Movement is very floaty and frustratingly slow there is a decent amount of dead time walking from one side of the screen to the other and back. The puzzles are both not too interesting/difficult, relying on a lot of trial and error, and they are very repetitive. This combined with the painfull movement made deaths feel even more annoying especially when many are caused by tight timings to avoid detection by enemies. The game also uses quick time events in several key moments, which in my opinion is one of the most lazy and overdone mechanics in all of games. They dont fit the game here and mar otherwise interesting sequences.
I really enjoyed this. Serene and peaceful, but dark and stressful at the same time. Ghibli and Moebius vibes with a bit of Another World/Flashback. Gorgeous music and well designed puzzles. Picking up the second one now!
