About
A planet that used to be a place of undisturbed balance between human, nature, and animal has now become something else entirely.
The disharmony that had been in the making for hundreds of years has finally arrived in the form of a faceless army. But this is not a story about war. This is a story about a vibrant, beautiful planet –and the journey to keep it that way.

The art in this game is fantastic. I got pretty lost on the story, I zoned out at times because there are long stretches in this game where nothing happens. About 70% of the game involves you traversing the scene, which is holding the analog stick (there is a LOT of just running), crouching through tunnels, climbing small ledges, and jumping over gaps. The environments change and the atmosphere is great, the puzzles are fair and not too challenging, although the evolve into skill based events toward the end which may require multiple attempts. It took me about 6 hours to finish. There are no collectibles, so I wasn't really exploring, but stumbled across 2 of the secret shrines. I don't think I'll go back and find the rest given the amount of travel time and that I already know the puzzles. The controls are responsive and I didn't encounter any bugs. I recommend this game if you like games that focus on atmosphere.
It's a good little platformer, really striking visuals and sound design. Cute characters for sure, feels a lot like Limbo but way more lighthearted. Not like completely mood-shifted, to be clear, you're still a little kid who can get killed by robots, it's just the tone and atmosphere are not all gloom and doom. It feels quite slow, at times, and repetitive for sure. Some of the puzzles make you think a tiny bit, but most of them are solved immediately in your head and then you just have to wait for the sluggish characters to cross vast distances to move a box to the right place, etc. It helps set the scale of everything, but sometimes it got quite boring. Maybe I just wasn't always in the headspace for slow puzzling. It's also a little short. Nowadays I don't mind short games, and when they start to feel repetitive it's wayyy better that they end sooner (and I will say, the locale that this game ends in looks pretty sick) -- BUT it's just worth mentioning that unless you're looking for every secret shrine, it's beatable in under 4 hours. Feels like an on-sale purchase to me, but value your gaming hours as you will.
10/10 - I don't see a way they could've improved the game honestly. The Gameplay is simple and accessible, mechanics are explained simply and then developed on with more complex stages. The Visuals are great, the art style is practically timeless as it relies heavily on a mix of low poly 3d models and painterly 2d elements. The Music add's a lot to the games atmosphere and conveys the tone of the situation well. The Story for me is hard to pin down, I'm sure there are many theories and
Completing the mural to show the full image may offer more to it.
, but overall I enjoyed my interpretation of the story and look forward to playing Planet Of Lana 2 (Tomorrow) Minor thing - Unity engine games have been causing a flickering black screen issue for me and this game had the same issue, I can't really mark the game down for that but if you have a 5xxx card or have noticed your card flickering in unity games, this game will likely have the same issue. Minimising and maximising the game briefly fixes the issue and it's not a huge problem overall.
One of the loveliest games I've ever played! Great diverse puzzles with a reasonable difficulty, colorful graphics and amazing environment details & music, not to mention the story and how it developed, I'm so glad it didn't have a sad ending, really excited to play planet of Lana 2! 🩷
It could be a fine cinematic platformer puzzler, although it is having a hard time getting out of that 'fine' zone. --- Visually, great effort evidently went into the beautiful backgrounds, the paint-like textures and the great shaders that animate all of this. Models and character animations are also pretty solid. I'd say my only gripe here is, despite the obvious artistic and technical talent on display, the world, character and enemy designs are not super unique. Or at the very least not unique enough to elevate the rest of the game. And so is the no word side scrolling story telling... --- It is mostly a puzzle platformer, with the presentation and controls of a cinematic one. And though I tend to be super gracious with that kind of gameplay, here I feel like the controls get in the way of puzzle resolution too often to be justifiable. As always, maybe it’s just skill issue. But I found myself more often than I wished kind of stuck on some puzzles, not because I didn't know what to do but because I found the controls to slow to execute on what was asked. Now most puzzles don’t really present any real challenge; at worst you'll restart very quickly, and it’s rare that speed is a factor. But the puzzles that ask you to escape an enemy, using you cat as a distraction...these are just a pain. Basically these puzzles are about placing you companion as bate, then trying to time an espace when the enemy starts running to them. But if either the kid or the cat get caught, it’s instant death and you have to start the set up from the start. They range from painfully slow, where you wait for seconds at the time for the enemy to be in the right position, to just plain frustrating when you control like og Prince Of Persia, taking a decade to climb a platform, and your robot opp is jumping around with speed and accuracy of an italian plumber. --- TL;DR I personally didn’t enjoy it. If it had been less annoying to play with any robot encounter, I'd have give it a reluctant recommandation, for an inoffensive puzzler platformer. But as is, there was enough friction in the gameplay that it just irritated me.
Just played first level. Masterpiece. Captivating, art, sound, music, everything in this game grabs your full attention. Bravo to the makers of this game. Can't wait to go throught the other levels.
美术是可以的,但是这个操作和躲藏解谜玩起来非常之无聊
I absolutely loved this game. The puzzles are super creative and they never feel the same, which keeps you constantly thinking. Highly recommend it!
