Planet Cracker

"Planet Cracker" feels more like a tech demo than a real game. It's 3D rendered, which is nice, but the gameplay is very shallow even for a bullet hell/shoot 'em up. You've only got a couple of weapons, not a lot of variety for "enemies" (just rocks and debris). This compares poorly to the hundreds of other shoot 'em ups on Steam, unfortunately. The graphics in this game are passable, but could be better. And while it's vital for any game to have impressive visuals (gaming is a visual medium, after all), there's more to a game than just the graphics. To be worth a gamers time, the game must match top tier visuals with top tier gameplay, and that's not happening here. Not every "free" game really is. There's often MTX, or content locked behind DLC, or donations being requested, or any other number of things that could mislead gamers, but in this case I'm glad to say this really does appear to be a fully free game. Nothing demonstrates a developers belief in themselves and their work than giving it away without any remuneration. This is a service to themselves, and the gaming industry, and should be applauded. Of course, just because something is free, doesn't necessarily mean it's valuable. Even though this is "free", it failed to appeal to the 120 million+ gamers on Steam. SteamDB showed the game peaked at only 2 concurrent players... this is a dismal public reception. This was so bad they couldn't even give it away. Bearing in mind that free games don't add +1 to your game collector count, should you bother adding this to your library and downloading it? This is a "maybe" experience... if you have a lot of free time on your hands and nothing else to do, why not? But for the purposes of a review, this isn't something I can say everyone must try. It's not quite there. Valve doesn't give us a "maybe" option in reviews, but if they did, that's what I'd choose for this.

Egy kis űrháborús shooter cucc. Aki az ilyeneket szereti annak oké lesz. DE. A játékban nem sokáig kapunk fejlesztést. Lesz 2 sima lövedék fejlesztés és 2 célkövetű és ennyi. Ezeket hamar megtudod szerezni és maxon vagy. A játék hamar kifullad abban a tekintetben, hogy az elején lassan jönnek, majd mikor megkapod az összes fejlesztést, brutál módon elkezdi dobálni be az ellenséges tárgyakat. A gond az, h sokszor olyan mennyiségű jön és olyan hirtelen zuhannak le, követni egyszerre nem lehet annyit. A játékkal rövid ideig el lehet szórakozni, de hosszú távon nem sok mindent ad. Maga az ötlet az jó lenne, csak hát nem lett benne több dolog...

Игра 'Planet Cracker' - это взрывной коктейль из стратегии и головоломки с простым, но затягивающим геймплеем. Вы - корпорация, чья задача максимально эффективно уничтожать планеты ради ресурсов. Казалось бы, просто ставь буры и смотри как планета разваливается, но не все так просто! Нужно учитывать типы пород, оптимальное размещение буров и конвейеров, чтобы максимизировать добычу и не затопить всю планету лавой. Плюсы: геймплей, который затягивает на часы, несмотря на кажущуюся простоту; постоянное ощущение прогресса и оптимизации; приятная минималистичная графика. Минусы: может показаться однообразной через некоторое время; не хватает разнообразия в типах разрушаемых объектов (было бы интересно разрушать не только планеты). В целом, 'Planet Cracker' – отличная игра, чтобы скоротать время, поломать голову и почувствовать себя вершителем судеб целых планет (в плохом смысле этого слова, конечно!). Рекомендую любителям казуальных стратегий и игр-головоломок.
