OK first of all this game is awful but they put 3 commander in the game all of them are beautiful girls and they give you instruction before each missions . I only played this game just for this particular reason. And i need to tell you that it's not worth it.because the levels are ridiculously hard, the enemy team have speed, power, and fast fire rate. they absolutely destroy you.and there is nothing like dodging are of they shot will lock on you and annihilate you.if i want to point out a positive thing about this,is Good AI,they know what to do and they are prefect.feel free to give this game a shot if you like the screenshots of the store page.
game didn't play for me so i can't recommend it. Brian
Note: Dead PvP game This game contains no meaningful single player content. There's no viably populated servers/active player population. This game cannot be played as intended.
This is a console (PS4/Xbone) ported PvP arena shooter from 2017, and yes, your eyes aren't decieving you, this looks more like it's from 2007. Amazing that Microsoft and Sony let something this janky looking onto their consoles, but I suspect the reason is the developer hired a couple of models to read the tutorial bits to the player off cards. Sure, FMV is always going to look better than rendered assets, but man, these girls are not exactly what you'd call talented actresses... deadpan line delivery for a dead PvP game. At least Westwood hired proper actors for Command & Conquer. They really looked like they were counting their paycheck in their minds every line. Anyway, "Planet 2000" is a dead PvP game. Why did it fail? It's video game autopsy time! Almost every PvP exclusive game on Steam fails. Only a tiny proportion of them "go viral". This game failed for many of the same reasons those others fail. The chief of which is the developer thinking that their game will "go viral" without actually creating any reason for it do so. Competition amongst PvP centric games is extreme, and there's only a finite player base to appeal to. This game failed to reach any kind of critical mass and died as a result. Let's go into some of the reasons this particular game failed to appeal to gamers, despite the zero up front cost. First and foremost, there's no meaningful single player content. The developer gambled that other players would be an acceptable substitute for adding storytelling, level design etc to the Game. They lost that bet. Without a huge community of players or single player content to add a lasting value to the game, the game dies. Developers must learn that other players are not an acceptable substitute for adding content to a game. Because this is designed for consoles, it carries a number of deliberate design deficiencies. Compromises were made to cater to the inferior console gaming appliances that the game was designed for. These are unfortunate compromises and limitations that PC gamers shouldn't be forced to accept, but it's evident that PC was a second thought for the console-centric developers. The game is deficient as a result of these choices, and would have been so much better without the handicaps that designing games for consoles forces upon a game. Once more, console peasants have made gaming worse for everyone. Visually, this has some fairly mediocre/dated looking graphics that will understandably be a turn off for a lot of gamers, and it's a big contributor to the failure of the game to attract gamers despite having no up-front cost. Insultingly, the developer insists that you should play this with a console peasant children's toy gamepad instead of KB+M. You cannot play this without a console peasant children's toy. Developers should try to be aware which platform they're designing games for. It's the responsibility of the developer to ensure the game runs well on the platform they're selling it on, with the primary peripherals that PC gamers use. This game is fairly dated at 5 years old... and even back then it looked old and busted compared to contemporary, professionally made 3D games of the same period. It looked bad then, it looks worse now. Now on to pricing and value for gamers. There's no initial download price, but the developer was charging $10 USD for this (on consoles at least). Price barriers, especially on low quality products, can be a direct cause of failure. It seems like a nice gesture for the game to have no up-front cost anymore, but it also tells us that the game wasn't good enough to succeed as a paid product. This is also a bit of a slap in the face to anyone who showed enough questionable judgement to pay money for this... nobody got refunded. In terms of public reception, this failed. There's over 130 million unique gamers visiting Steam every month. SteamDB showed the game peaked at only 3 concurrent players... this is a dismal public reception. This was so bad they couldn't even give it away. All other issues aside (any of which would disqualify this from being worth your time), this is a game that relies on other players for it to be viable, and because there's not enough players, it's not viable. I can't recommend anyone downloads this, it's basically dead.
Before I played Planet 2000, I had a small pp, no friends, no gf, depression, and no life. These things havent changed, but the game is pretty good
