Reviews
You play as a pizza delivery boy who is in love with his boss’s daughter and dreams of marrying her. The boss strongly disapproves and decides to send him on a seemingly impossible task: delivering a pizza to Zeus. The journey to the clouds is packed with the usual challenges every platforming hero must overcome. Aside from moving left and right, the pizza boy can only jump and shoot his ketchup bottle. Ammo is unlimited, but the firing rate is slow, even if you mash the button. The bottle can be upgraded into three increasingly spicy condiments, with wasabi as the final form, depending on how many points you earn. Points are gained by defeating enemies and collecting coins. Unless you deliberately avoid everything, you will reach the best upgrade fairly quickly. The final upgrade is the only one that feels meaningful, as it noticeably increases damage, while the earlier upgrades hardly seem to make a difference. Once you unlock an upgrade, you never lose it because your points never decrease. Checkpoints are frequent and take the form of a rooster. If you fall into a pit or lose all your health, you instantly respawn at the last checkpoint. Everything you have accomplished remains intact after respawning, even boss health. This lets you beat everything even if you’re not very good at these games. Enemies do not drop items and pose little threat. They fall after a few shots and can even be hit off screen. You can simply keep firing straight ahead and listen for the sound that confirms a hit. Since environmental hazards deal minimal damage, you can often walk through them without much concern. The hero’s most distinctive feature is his dragon companion, which can be summoned at will. The dragon can fly, collect coins, and push objects, though it cannot stray far from the pizza boy. Moving boxes or rocks to clear paths or remove blockades adds a light puzzle element, but it appears only occasionally. What truly sets the dragon apart is its ability to release a trail of solid bread. While flying, it can lay down bread to create steps or platforms that help the pizza boy reach higher areas. Although the supply of bread is limited, it is more than sufficient, and you can reclaim placed bread to restore the dragon’s supply. However, the dragon can be summoned in only a few stages to prevent you from bypassing challenges. Overall, the game is quite easy and does not take long to complete. Its simplicity and low difficulty are further emphasized by a wall jump ability that may not even be intentional. Even flat walls can often be climbed by repeatedly pressing the jump button, allowing access to areas that might otherwise require more effort. Stages are short and occasionally offer two different paths leading to the same exit, but there is little incentive to explore, as there appear to be no secrets. A few levels take place in smaller environments where you can talk to characters or complete minor tasks, and there is even an auto scrolling section with a mine cart and snowboard. If you wish to replay a level, a separate map allows you to walk around and re-enter any stage you have already completed.

Το Pizza of the Gods είναι ένα ιδιαίτερο 2D platformer που ξεχωρίζει κυρίως για την προσωπικότητα και το χιούμορ του.
A fun platformer, observing and navigating a painted world is pretty cool! If you enjoy hand-made crafted world, you'll enjoy. Plus the switching between characters with the dragon mechanic is pretty fun! Edit: I'll just add, since one of the review say there is no secret, that I at least found 1 true secret and some mild one.
