It focuses on puzzles in a 20x20 size, although puzzles in 15x15 and 25x25 sizes are also available. The non-daily and weekly puzzles—I prefer calling them official packs since they seem to be made by the same group of people—were more varied in size: 5x5, 10x10, 15x15, 20x20, and even 25x25 puzzles are available. Most packs are centered on 20x20 and 25x25 sizes, though. For reference, there are 39 5x5 puzzles, 33 10x10 puzzles, 26 15x15 puzzles, 56 20x20 puzzles, and 50 25x25 puzzles, totaling 204 official puzzles. Since the game has been made for other platforms since 2009, there are already plenty of daily and weekly puzzles available. There are 821+ 15x15 puzzles, 6146+ 20x20 puzzles, and 536+ 25x25 puzzles, with 2 puzzles added on a daily basis and 1 puzzle added on a weekly basis. https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3700874777 Some basic functionalities are available in this game. You can mark cells with a small square symbol for guessing, and the game will automatically cross out other cells once you are done with a row and column. Plus, it will gray out clues that you have finished. The game also has an in-game hint, but I found it to be very basic, especially since it just colors one random correct tile. Since it was placed randomly, there would be times when you won't find any correlation between the colored cell and your progress. Lastly, it also offers a way to save in the middle of a puzzle. The game also places puzzles that you quit midway in a separate section, so you can easily get back to them. On the downside, there is no option to count cells. Since the game focuses on 20x20 and 25x25 puzzles, counting the cells manually can be quite tedious and time-consuming. Moreover, there is no undo button—there are times when I had to guess some puzzles, and sometimes I had to restart from scratch since I didn't know how the puzzle was before I was doing my guessing. Moreover, the drag-to-fill function seems to be bugged. If you do it over cells that were X-marked, the X mark will be gone. https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3611345417 The game also has a few customization options. You can choose whether to display the in-game timer or not, and whether you want to count the mistakes and/or restart the puzzle if the mistake reaches a certain number. There is also an option to change the window theme, but it's more limited compared to other games. The early daily puzzles have multiple solutions. It can be hard to pinpoint what to color a certain tile with since there are multiple possibilities, but once I figured out that there are multiple solutions, it became easier since it just means that all of the possibilities are valid. Plus, the game seems to accept the different solutions, so you don't have to worry about solving them wrong. Creator Mode You can create puzzles in various sizes: 5x5, 10x10, 15x15, 20x20, and 25x25. The game will check whether your puzzle has a unique solution or not, and then you are able to share it with others or save it for yourself. If you decide to share it with others, your puzzle might or might not be listed as the daily and weekly puzzle. I think this is a clever solution by the dev to make new puzzles added infinitely. That being said, this makes the daily and weekly puzzle difficulties inconsistent. Moreover, some puzzle images won't be as good as the official ones since it depends on the drawing skill of the puzzle creator. Lastly, there might be cases where the name or shape of some puzzles is similar. https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3605196410 Length and Difficulty I finished all the official packs in 20.7h. I spent the rest of my playtime finishing the daily and weekly puzzles. I still haven't finished them all yet since there are over 7000 puzzles, and going at the rate I am playing right now, it will take years before I finish them all. Since this is a curator copy, I'd rather put the review first and edit my playtime later, especially since the experience playing the daily and weekly puzzles will mostly be the same. I already tried playing some of the content for 90h+, so I think it should be sufficient to form an opinion. The difficulty for the daily and weekly puzzles varies. I'm not talking about the size, by the way—there are some easy 25x25 puzzles and challenging 20x20 puzzles. Challenging 20x20 puzzles and easy 20x20 puzzles are also available in the game, and you can gauge the difficulty through the average time needed to solve the puzzle that was displayed in the list. Sometimes it's off since you might have a better start than others—that usually helps to complete the puzzles faster, but the timer is mostly accurate. The challenging ones require you to do the edge-filling technique, and sometimes I even had to guess; it can take me around 30 minutes just to solve those puzzles. The easy one, on the other hand, requires no brain thinking and can be solved in less than 5 minutes. The official packs, though, have more fixed difficulty. I didn't remember using any techniques like edge filling, but I still managed to solve the puzzles just fine. There are no overly easy ones where you can solve the puzzle without thinking, though.
Conclusion
Pixelogic: Nonograms Unlimited offers plenty of puzzles that can last for a lifetime. Even without counting the daily and weekly puzzles that are community-sourced, the official packs are still ~20h long. Most functionality is basic, and the music is relaxing enough for you to chill around in your free time. I can recommend it if you are into Nonograms, especially if you are okay with puzzles in 20x20 and 25x25 sizes. READ BEFORE, UH, READING: this review is MOSTLY just very very opinionated complains about its visual appearance. if you want a very straightforward collection of picross puzzles and nothing else, you should pick this up. PLEASE be aware that the majority of its touted "6k+ puzzles" are 20x20 in size, however. If you're not good or okay with that size of puzzle, I would stay away. ANYWAY: Presenting one of the most spartan "function over form" picross games on the market. Very little visual flourish, a single looping piano track, barely any sounds, and the moment you solve one puzzle it shoves you onto the next one like a conveyor belt. I feel SO SO mean and rude posting a negative review like this but when you make a logic puzzle game, there is a distinct balance that you have to hit: the puzzles have to be good of course and not have multiple solutions (check), the controls and qol has to be solid and decently customizable (check, mostly) and you also need to make sure the visual and audio side of things is good too (no check). the problem with this one is very much on that last point. it looks boring and it doesnt sound particularly good either. cheaply made budget titles on ps1 (superlite 1500 oekaki logic 2-5) completely beat this game on this front, never mind the modern jupiter picross games or even the new king that is squeakross. your have four options for themes; solid white, solid white with the faintest barely there section of colour cyling, solid white with grey dots and solid black. this complete lack of colour and flourish combined with its conveyor belt approach to puzzles end up making this feel more akin to work more than a puzzle game to enjoy. again, i hate to do this because the puzzles are pretty solid! but everything about its presentation drains it completely of any fun. further unhelped by the rather generic piano loop, which you can only turn on or off with no other options. if some more tunes, more colourful themes and more puzzle size variety get added in then id be swayed to flip the thumb the other way round, i think.
Spent a good amount of time at the start of the year solving around ~2000 out of the ~25 million 5x5 on the Pixelogic website. Thought the developer deserved some kickback once the game came out and they absolutely do. It's picross/logiart, it has daily and weekly puzzles, you can make your own to share with friends and the backlog of all of this is large enough to keep you playing once you finish all the puzzles the game comes with inherently on top of all these features. AND it has dark mode. 10/10, couldn't want more.
Solve picture puzzles by following numeric clues in this vast nonogram game featuring thousands of daily challenges, quality of life features, and endless replayability. If you’ve played nonograms before, you’ll feel right at home. For everyone else, the rules are pretty simple. The objective of each puzzle is to color squares according to the clues and reveal the hidden picture. Clues are the numbers on the left and top of the grid, indicating how many squares in each row or column must be colored. Squares must be filled together without any spaces in between. However, if there’s more than one number in a row or column, there must be at least one empty space between each group of colored squares. Coloring is done with the left mouse button, while marking empty spaces is done with the right mouse button. Difficulty settings let you choose between a challenging mode, where you can make only five mistakes, and a relaxed mode, where mistakes don’t count. Whatever you choose, all content is available in every mode and nothing is locked behind difficulty. For extra help, there’s also an unlimited hint option that colors one tile each time you use it. Although you can technically solve an entire puzzle this way, each hint adds time to your timer, which will affect your final score. You might need a few puzzles to get familiar with the patterns and strategies. For instance, it’s often best to start with the edges, since you can sometimes fill entire rows or columns. Later on, you’ll begin to recognize common number combinations and instantly know, for example, that there must be exactly one empty space between certain groups of squares. Although there are several puzzle packs with around 20 puzzles each, the main appeal comes from the daily and weekly challenges. Since the game’s origins go back nearly a decade, you can also play all the previous puzzles—bringing the total to an almost unbelievable count of over 7,000. Puzzles are neatly organized by year and month, and new ones are added daily. Long story short, this might be the only nonogram game you’ll ever need.
画面简洁,操作挺丝滑的,但是滑动太自然容易不小心标记到其他行列的格子,有6k+图爽玩,最大25x25。 玄学联网,一开始开加速器不行,挂梯可以,过会梯子也不行,裸连加载成功了(?
You can not possibly go wrong with Picro- wait, does Nintendo own that name? Sorry, I mean that you can not possibly go wrong with Nonograms.
It's a good nonogram game with pretty much endless content. Achievements are super grindy and there are minor issues with input like painting over X cells sometimes doing different things. Other than that, it’s polished and worth your time.

Developer fixes bugs
This is a good picross game, plenty of content with more being added daily. Difficulty for puzzles is extremely variable and maybe it's just me but the average time to beat that is provided isn't really an indicator of how difficult a puzzle will be. The way the controls work are a bit... non-standard as well but work well enough. It is true that the presentation is pretty basic but honestly picross isn't the sort of thing that you need to capture your full attention the whole time you're playing it. For me it's always been something to do while watching something else and for that purpose this fit perfectly.
