wow this game sucks and its short and broken i beat the whole game in 10 min if you buy the cheapest character and sell him you get more money then you spent so you can get hundreds of points and makes no challenge there is a total on 8 levels thats it this game is really bad i recommend getting rock and roll defense i think thats what its called but get that if you are trying to get a tower defense game
Warning: Asset Flip!
Pixelfence is a Unity Asset flip, what Valve calls a "fake game". The "developer", cBlck, took the Pixel Tower Defense Prototype Unity Store tutorial/demo/game asset pack from the real developers, Kirill Nadezhdin, changed the name, and dumped the result onto Steam. They're attempting to scam people into buying this, so they can get your money for someone else's work. cBlck has shown a repeat pattern of unethically dumping other people's work onto Steam as a cheap, nasty cash grab. Here's some examples so you can see for yourself:

"TacTikk" = Make An Assassins Board Game in Unity developed by Wilmer Lin
"Agross" = Agricola Unity developed by Michael Kasprzyk
"SnL" = Snakes And Ladders Multiplayer developed by Moe Baker
"Froggo" = Road Crossing Game Template developed by Puppeteer
"Pet Puzzle" = Simple match-three animals puzzle developed by CATLOGIC
The products that result from asset flips aren't "real" games. They lack depth and content, because they're just simplistic copies of demos or tutorials. In this case, "Pixel Tower Defense Prototype" is just a free asset pack/tutorial for making a 2D retro pixel tower defense game, and doesn't have any merit as a proper, fully fledged PC game, so a copy+paste of it can't be recommended. Asset flips don't involve any professional game development. Sure, sometimes they may change a few cosmetic things, swap out different assets etc, but at heart it's functionally identical to the asset they're ripping off. Asset flips like this are harmful to the gaming industry and to Steam because they reduce the visibility that sincerely made indie games should have, and make it harder for gamers to find real games from genuine developers. Don't reward this morally bankrupt, unethical behaviour from cBlck.
I want to like this game, but there's just not a lot of content. And you're not off to a great first impression when you boot up the game to a literal blue screen with a blurry "start" button on it. For the price the lack of content would be fine for me personally if the overall design was better. There are 4 "themes" for levels, and 2 levels each. Just three tower types, you can't see their range at all. You can upgrade them, but I didn't notice a visual difference just a damage difference. Range I assume is upgraded but who knows. The three waves per level are over really quickly. Less than a minute, and they're painfully easy to beat. Not even really an indication on whether or not you've completed a level before, or if you've done it without damage. At 1080p the enemy sprites look really blurry [as do menus as mentioned earlier] even with max settings, the backgrounds and your own towers/base look crisp and fine. There is also a noticeable line on the edges of some of the enemy sprites (like the turtle) so it's not fully transparent. Mixed with the blurriness it's not too pretty. Which is a shame as the art style is cute and works, but that really brings it down. I'd be fine with the limited content for it's price if it offered a bit more of a challenge. It just feels like there's no reason to ever open the game again, and I've only put in 7 minutes. :/ There's also no way to exit from the game itself. I wouldn't recommend it sadly. I hopped back in really quick to see if it even tracked your high score on a level and it doesn't even do that, so the score is pointless as a reason to return too.
A little short game that you can finish in about 10 ~15 minutes. Despite the duration of the game, it's a nice game, would love to see more stages of this game in the future. I really liked it.
Милая незамысловатая игра, жаль мало уровней.
mini tower defence oyunu tür eğlenceli ama bu oyun değil
Literal trash.
The game doesn't have a tutorial, which is pretty dissapointing. Other than that, the design of the towers and monsters are pretty good, and you can come up with a strategy to defeat the monsters. I would also like some background music, and maybe even some sound effects, but that is all up to the developer. 7/10
