About

A powerful Vorpal Knight has kidnapped the last Pixies to drain their power and feed his ambitions! Start with a wimpy party composed entirely of children and grow ever-stronger as you recruit awesome heroes, find useful items, and discover game-changing relics. Assemble a legendary rescue team in this roguelike auto-battler — a love letter to the 8-bit RPGs of yore!

Magical creatures and humans lived in harmony for millennia, until a war broke out! Centuries later, magical creatures have been in hiding so long that most humans think they're just old fairy tales. But word on the street is that one BAD hombre believes they're real, and he's on the hunt for them, especially Pixies!
After years of searching, he finally managed to capture them... All except ONE, that is! It's up to the last pixie to find help. There's no telling what unimaginable evil that villain could unleash if he’s allowed enough time to drain all those pixies' magical powers.
You'll help, won't you?
Can you really say no to that face?

Customize your party!
Expand your party to contain up to 6 characters at once. With 32 unique classes to find and recruit, that’s over 906,192 possible unique party compositions! Combine that with dozens of game-changing relics and items for near-limitless possibilities. (Those numbers don't even consider party formation or duplicate characters!)
Have children fight for you!
Feedback suggests this is a selling point? Have small, weak children fight dangerous monsters on your behalf! Why are there so many cop cars outside? (Unintelligible SWAT noises.)
Explore the land!
Make your way through at least 5 unique biomes, including vast deserts, lush forests, and dangerous volcanic plains. Traverse towns, mysterious landmarks, booby-trapped caves, bazaars, and much more as you make your way to the villain's lair.
Grow Stronger!
Continuously unlock new characters, events, and upgrades between attempts. Permanently improve your chances of beating overwhelming odds!
Strategize before battle!
Your party will do its best to defeat any challenge they face, but only you can ensure victory by choosing the best team composition for each encounter and using your consumable items wisely. Your decisions will shape the fate of your party, the Pixies, and the world!
Flexible difficulty settings!
Unlock harder difficulty modes with each successful run. Or, if you're looking for a more relaxed experience, enjoy CASUAL MODE — a more forgiving experience that allows you to retry if you fall in battle.
True victory only awaits those who can beat the hardest difficulty setting, though... So, are you ready for a challenge?

Pixel Pixie isn't just a fun RPG Maker game, it's a fun game period. Easily the best part of this game are all of the hidden events that are driven by player choices. If you have certain characters, you'll get certain interactions between characters that can then impact your gameplay. The mystery events are really fun and add to the gameplay beyond just being an auto battler. There's a lot of depth here, tons of replay value, and the art and music are fantastic. The dev is committed to removing all AI but is using it now because they are on a tight budget. I think just about everyone can have a great time with this game and at such a cheap price, you should definitely give it a shot!
Pixel Pixie is an absolute gem of a roguelike auto-battler! As you rescue the last pixies from the evil Vorpal Knight, you'll build your team from weak kids to powerhouse heroes. The game shows you what's coming - turning each battle into a mini chess match.
Pixel Pixie is a funny, story-driven roguelike with a style reminiscent of 8-bit RPGs such as Final Fantasy or Dragon Quest. The writing is humorous and doesn’t take itself too seriously, though it still offers an interesting plot and a good amount of world-building. If you enjoyed games like Undertale or EarthBound/Mother, you’ll probably appreciate the tone and humor here. It’s quirky and awkward, but in a charming way. I ended up really liking several of the characters and would love to see more of them. The gameplay starts off easy but ramps up in difficulty with each successful run. Since you can unlock more characters, items, and permanent upgrades between runs, you never feel like the increasing challenge is leaving you behind. As an auto-battler, most of the strategy comes from deciding which of the characters you’ve found each run are the best choices. Your decisions are influenced by several factors, including enemy weaknesses in the current area and the items you’ve collected. I found it fun to experiment with different classes and builds to create an overpowered team. Compared to most roguelites, Pixel Pixie is more forgiving, which is great because it allows you to fully experience the story (one of this game’s strongest aspects). It’s not a particularly long game, letting you enjoy the story and unlock all achievements in about 10 hours. I think it’s a great value for the price, and it sounds like the developer plans to continue adding content and tweaking balance, which is exciting since it already feels like a complete experience. Overall, I’d definitely recommend Pixel Pixie, especially if you’re a fan of old-school JRPGs and comedic writing. The characters are likable, the story is engaging, and the gameplay blends popular roguelite and auto-battler elements with the feel of a classic JRPG, resulting in a unique and enjoyable experience.
A fun little roguelite autobattler with an NES-era Final Fantasy charm. For those unfamiliar with the genre, your characters act on their own; the strategy is all about party composition and what choices you make between fights. It's on the easier side compared to other autobattlers, you'll pick up on some good strategies pretty easily if you've played other ones. But it can be fun to delete monsters while watching your party get stronger and stronger too. Meet stronger friends, defeat stronger foes, and save the pixies from the evil Vorpal Knight!
Genuinely a fun game. The mixing and matching of how to build your team, changing who's currently on it for certain bosses to match their weaknesses, and the events that can happen when you get certain characters on your team makes for an all around good time. I think the only "problem" that I saw while playing is the fact that you pretty much always need a healer on your team if you wish to win. Not a huge problem at all, just means that those become a big focus of almost all of your builds (atleast for me). One thing I would like to see in either a sequel (Which based off a certain secret seems really interesting) or DLC, is some characters that give ways to generate more money, and maybe make a certain character hidden behind a mirror more accessible for that type of build/run. Also, maybe a way to recruit enemy characters or one that every time they get the last strike on an enemy they get a stat boost or enemy trait. Overall though, definitely would recommend playing this game! To the Creator(s); Wonderful job and I hope to see more!!
A delightful little JRPG-based roguelite. It feels like there are just enough decision points to make it an interesting game without turning it into a slog; you're not min/maxing rounds of combat, but there's still a decent bit of skill expression in knowing when to use your stat increasing items (as they don't affect future party members), budgeting gold, and choosing party compositions based on prior knowledge of a zone. Might be worth mentioning that I virtually never play games for the writing and will almost always be skipping it when given a choice, but I've really appreciated the game's, let's say, "frivolous" tone. I feel like I've gotten plenty of enjoyment out of my $4, and I'm (allegedly) ~3/5 of the way through the game. [Edit: Oh, and I bought it as soon as I saw the AI slop was removed from the steam page. Gotta reward good behavior.]
I did not expect to like the writing for this game as much as I did. Auto battlers with a grind element are not known for their amusing and adorable dialogue. And yet: Suck it probability!
Like 24 hours worth of content. An rpg that levels by getting better and better items, and synchronising the build. I loved it.
CHILD. PUNCH.
This is a very fun game! I have been craving a roguelike with some class-based aspects, and this scratches that itch. Simple at first and gets more complicated as you "Progress". Love the character focused events that break up the roguelike formula occasionaly, and was suprised to keep finding more as I progressed! There appears to be lots of fun secrets baked in. What is up with the volcano dog!? Highly recomend! 2026 edit: i wish i could find more games like this!
