Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0/day in the week to Sep 4 → 0.43/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 23 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 14 places towards #1, and the 2,515 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

A Whimsical Masterpiece Pit People, the brainchild of The Behemoth, is an exceptional game that effortlessly blends a unique art style, engaging gameplay mechanics, and a hilariously absurd narrative into a gaming experience that is nothing short of a whimsical masterpiece. First and foremost, the game's art direction is a visual feast. The distinctive cartoonish style, reminiscent of The Behemoth's previous titles like Castle Crashers and BattleBlock Theater, sets Pit People in line with the other games. The characters are quirky and charming, each with its own eccentric design. The colorful and vibrant world is a pleasure to explore, and the attention to detail in the animations adds a layer of polish that enhances the overall gaming experience. Pit People's gameplay is where it truly shines. Combining turn-based strategy with elements of role-playing games, the mechanics are easy to grasp but provide enough depth to keep players engaged. Assemble a team of bizarre warriors, each with unique abilities and skills, and lead them into tactical battles against equally eccentric foes. The variety of characters and their abilities encourage experimentation, strategic thinking, and adaptability, making each encounter a fresh and enjoyable challenge. One of the game's standout features is its cooperative gameplay. Pit People can be played solo or with friends, and the cooperative mode seamlessly integrates into the single-player experience. The ability to team up with friends enhances the fun and adds an extra layer of strategy as players coordinate their moves and tackle challenging battles together. The narrative of Pit People is amusing. The game doesn't take itself too seriously, delivering a comedic and absurd storyline filled with unexpected twists and turns. The dialogue is witty, and the voice acting is top-notch, bringing the eccentric characters to life with charm and humor. Furthermore, Pit People's replay value is high. With a vast world to explore, numerous side quests to undertake, and the ever-present allure of discovering new characters and strategies, players can easily sink hours into the game without feeling repetitive. In conclusion, Pit People is a great game that excels in every aspect – from its delightful art style and engaging gameplay to its humorous narrative and cooperative features. The Behemoth has once again proven their mastery at creating entertaining and unique gaming experiences, making Pit People a must-play for anyone seeking a blend of strategy, humor, and outright fun.

Boring, terrible music, terrible narration, just generally awful.
good
dziwnie..

specyficznie..

fajowo!
Całość aż kipi i zalatuje starym dobrym Newgroundem.
What I Liked: 1. Humour: Behemoth never disappoints with their uncanny jokes and truly shines with their humour when making games that don't take themselves too seriously. 2. Artstyle: Very unique and consistently good. The many designs for the accessories, weapons and shields all have their own style and can be changed and matched according to your preference. You can make your characters look like complete berserkers or a strange cartoon creature with a head that is as long as their body holding a lollipop to fight. The level of customization is just crazy. (you do have to catch or buy those accessories tho) 3. Catching Enemies: You can "catch" almost every enemy in this game (except bosses) and use them for your own team. Though some are balanced in a weird way like needing 1 more team slot (because too strong). But it feels really satisfying to also be able to use the "OP" enemy units and crush everyone in your path with them. 100% the best part about this game. Complaints: 1. You're forced to take "story characters" to progress, but they are far from the most useful/strong units in the game making every story encounter unnecessarily long and tedious to play out. Just let me play my fun giant creatures and end the fight in 10 rounds instead of 40... 2. Combat: It gets stale after +4h. Fights never seem different, use the same enemies over and over again and to "increase" difficulty the game just starts to spawn more monsters instead of creating any kind of interesting scenarios (the chess game was the most amazing, but it was literally too easy). 3. Lackluster power progression: With that I mean the actual increase in strength for your units after constantly fighting with them and leveling them up. Leveling just seems like a completely irrelevant mechanic in this game, since the increase in stats is so minimal that you don't even realize if anything changed. There are some times where you win just because healed from leveling, but that's like the only case it makes a difference. 4. Everything just takes forever: Combat is slow, some animations take forever, especially when using characters with special abilities like knockups or rangers, and the worst part EVERYTHING HAS TOO MUCH HP. WHY DO THEY ALL HAVE SO MUCH? Why does it take 2 entire turns with every character hitting an archer to kill them????? Thank god not every enemy team in the story has a cupcake or I would have pulled all my hairs out. Making every fight take over 20 turns just seems so strange to me. The fact that everything takes so much time already just makes you feel so exhausted after just a single fight but imagine all those other timeconsuming things x20 because nothing ever dies. Just imagine hitting a frontline unit with all of your units, god forbid, if they are even able to hit with the implemented random targeting during combat and praying that they die in less than 5 turns. 5!!!!! Fights that are completely onesided still take over 20 rounds for no reason, just because they don't want to make everyones hp low. I was expecting a lot, but after playing for several hours you just feel so bored that not even the funniest joke could lift up your spirit. I didn't try the pvp mode, maybe it's fun, but the overworld content certainly isn't.
do you want more of the behemoth? how about more good tactical RPGs? well, my good friend, this is your game. Lots of laughs, lots of fun, and lots of "WHY ISN'T THERE MORE OF THIS??" before you're promptly removed from the funeral home
