My original review, condensed: This game will change your idea of Pinball. Do you like fun? So do we! In the meantime here's 15 tables that don't support controllers! It's pinball with no controller support! Heck, you don't even need a screen to enjoy this to it's fullest. Zero out of a million stars. It's like something you would play on your phone - waitaminute! That's exactly what it is. UPDATE: Some clever lad provided these instructions offering actual controller support! Before you launch these in your browser, make sure your controller is on and connected wireless is fine) and you'll need to go into your STEAM Settings from the pulldown menu (upper left corner, there it is!), hit the [Controller] tab and hit the [General Controller Settings] buttons. Click the appropriate check boxes (they will be obvious) and APPLY. Your machine will need to restart after this is done, so be prepared for that. The next time you start the game, you will have controller support. Steam Controller: steam://controllerconfig/448670/1703217471 Xbox One Controller: steam://controllerconfig/448670/1704448340 Now that it has some kind of controller support it's better than it was, but I still don't endorse this - the gameplay is sluggish, the ball physics are poor, and really, there are much better pinball games available on Steam - this is more of a fidget than a proper pinball experience. I think it would be more appropriate for younger kids than older players. It's playable, but it's not that great. It's what you would expect from a phone-ported game. Should I buy it? Probably not, but it does get deeply discounted sometimes. $5 seems reasonable. Regarding pinball choices, here are some recommendations: Pinball Arcade is free, and you buy table packs (based on real tables) Zaccaria Pinball is a bargain and has many tables (plus supports VR!) Pinball FX3 is excellent (but a bit pricey for tables), Pinball Wicked is a single table game but exceptional Pro Pinball Ultra (Timeshock) is amazing (& supports surround sound)
I am a Steam Curator - if you like my reviews (or even if you don't), you can join my group here: https://store.steampowered.com/curator/42458001-Phantom-Space-Reviews/
All ok.
It'e better then nothing..............
honestly it's not that bad at all after some tweaking, but it does run at 50 FPS sometimes instead 60. I personally recommend it, and it also works for linux!
It's good. Could be better. Update: Okay, i tell more, read on; It's junk. avoid like the devil avoids reading the bible. Unless you can get for ~$5 or something. still junk but if while selecting a table u pres esc button table ogoes to "admiration" mode thus becoming a nice visualliser for you, giving you something to enjoy while eg eat, listening to music and/or masturbate. Not nessesarily in that order but..., forgot what i was gonna say, sry :( That's all, i hope this helps >8(👍 ... Yah ok i'll tel you some more, okay >8(👍 This initially was something very nice pinball thing to have, all tables worked as they should and gameprom had a nice licence/partnership thingy goin with MGM studios to promote 3 MGM movies by making pinball tables themed from each movie. Nice moove 👍 Long story short they kept making tables and before you know it there was a "pinball HD" whatever collection for the apple ecosystem witch was quite good and fun. fastforwarding to 2020 BIG KABOOM happened and what's left is the remnants of that lovely collection (whatever survived) for steam and android. Same junk, different levels of priceing . On android you can try and avoid buying the non working tables (eg *cough*davinchi*cough* on steam it's all or nothin'. so i highly recomend the nothing. Nevermind the 👍(reccomended) above, am dating his sister. Technical probrems and fix; Amd GPUS: Radeon HD:XXXX cards should work fine with this Above that might requre driver version 22.5.1 or lower to work fine, otherwise you will have missing graphics broken polygons junk and more junk Nvidia Gpus: all should work fine but modern gpus with driver version higher than 531.xx might get framepacing, stuttering issues. Enabling special gpu setiing for the game or setting your dispaly to 50Hz might fix the framerate issue. Special setting: Enable GPU scalling: Yes Vsync: FAST That's all, This message will self destruct in T-Minus 14999
