Very nice game
Really really nice
A nice Game for in between. Even if you just have 15min you can easily try 5 times to beat a level. Seriously most of the time you will be trying to complete a level and not making it. Pros: + Dificult + A metric ton of achievements Cons: - Don't wear sun glasses while playin
A simple yet fun game
The game already offers various levels in different worlds with a unique art style and a first attempt of story telling (expandable + desirable tho). This game is a perfect fit for someone who has to kill some free time (and maybe inner demons 👀) Pros:

Level difficulty
A ton of achievements (No, really. They are everywhere)
Leveling system/skill system
Collectibles
Cons:

A ton of Achievements
Small grammatical mistakes in English
Missing music in main menu
The game offers 50 achievements at this point and this can be both: good and bad. If you love achievements, that's great! This game is perfect for you! Otherwise the constant (at least at the beginning) reminder of accomplishing an achievemnt can be quiet annoying. Nonetheless, Pillars of Sorrow is a fun game and highly recommendable!
I´ve played for roughly 3h as of now and I really enjoy the game. Would recommend it to anyone who enjoys twin-stick shooters. Below I´ll mention my positive and negative experiences regarding the game. *Negatives:* - the game is still haunted by a few reappearing bugs (e.g. unable to move after completing a certain level and being forced to restart the game or a black screen with only the character at the center when starting a new level, also forcing you to restart the game) - the levels of the first world seemed a bit too difficult at first (note: a bit of grinding and leveling up your abilities helps and some people will see this as a positive) - the bosses sometimes feel weak in comparison to the normal levels - items used to upgrade your character are very easy to attain at times, which allows people who grind the early levels to get strong pretty swiftly *Positives:* - I really enjoy the background music (especially in the 2nd world) and I think that it´s very well suited for the game - the different worlds, enemies and artworks offer the player a certain variety and it never feels monotonous - an altar in your main base designated to show you all of your stats (just offers a satisfying overview of what you´ve achieved) - the addition of pets and other hidden items offer a further variety of goals for the player - the cut-scenes offer a well-deserved depth to the story - loved the rework of the abilities (new artworks showing you which hotkeys to press for which abilites (really aids new players) - altogeher the egagement of the developer to swiftly work on reoccuring bugs and frequently update the game Compromised I´d say that if you enjoy twin-stick shooters then this is a must play, it has very eloquent artworks and fitting music. The whole experience is good and will be better in the future once the named negatives have bee worked on.
