Great CRPG with lots of depth

Maybe we'll get PoE 3 one day
Pillars II is the best isometric RPG since the 90s, as long as you don't include Disco Elysium, which is a bit of a different genre. It's that simple, and it's a bit of a tragedy that III was never made and if it's ever made now, I would expect to be terrible.
This game is so good. Huge improvement from the first one, especially the gameplay.
wow I never reviewed this. must have been busy playing. super amazing game a la baldur's gate 1/2. Start with PoE 1. Still very playable for the genre. Slightly weaker story to PoE1. but Still very good. Don't play these kind of games if you don't enjoy at least a little bit of lore reading.
Pillars of Eternity II: Deadfire is a great CRPG if you like deep lore, tactical combat, morally messy choices, and piratesque lore and styling. The world is rich, the companions are strong. The ship stuff is fine. Not amazing, not terrible. Mostly there so you can feel like a reasonable pirate with administrative duties. Although I really like that part of it all; and it can make money too in game But it's not strong on things like ship-2-ship combat Also, the Critical Role cast being all over this game is extremely cool. Hearing those voices in a D&D-style fantasy RPG just feels correct and if you like them it's cool to hear them "at work". It can be dense, slow, and occasionally too in love with its own lore, but overall it’s a fantastic RPG for people who like their adventures with gods, politics, boats, and some emotional baggage. Worth it. Replayable as well. 10/10 buy and play!
Love it in a way, it added good things but made the overall experience worse.
类似博德之门,很不错
Good story even though I like first more. Obsidian did a great job with dialogs and options with various skill checks. This is a typical RPG for multiple replays with different experience with subtle points in story and grey area decisions.
