Pictective 2: Around The World

The game follows a detective cat who is chasing a criminal by collecting clues hidden inside photos of real world locations. Your investigation takes you across 12 different countries, each featuring nine photos. You can jump into any country you like, but at first only the first three images are available. As you clear stages, you earn rewards that allow you to open additional photos within that country. Each stage revolves around a single large photo. On the right side of the screen, smaller images appear, and your task is to find the exact spots those little photos represent within the main picture. A stage contains 19 small photos in total, but only five are visible on the right at any time. Once you find one, it disappears and a new one takes its place. After tracking down all of them, there is one final objective. You need to spot the criminal cat. The photos themselves are pleasant to look at and showcase some really cool places around the world. None of them are especially difficult on their own, but the challenge often comes from large city shots filled with tiny details that easily distract you from the spot you are trying to locate. Most stages feature these busy city views, while a smaller number focus on a single landmark or location, which tend to be easier to solve. The overall experience is very casual because you can click anywhere on the image without penalties or restrictions. If you get stuck, there is a hint system that highlights a circular area on the main photo where one of the targets is located. After using it, the hint needs about a minute to recharge. Luckily, the cooldown feels quick enough that you rarely have to wait too long if you need help. If you are looking for more of a challenge, each photo can be played in several additional modes. Alongside the normal mode, there is a sepia mode that removes all colors and makes searching more difficult. There is also a speedrun mode where you must find everything within a time limit. Random mode changes things up by placing completely different target spots on the image, unlike the normal mode where the same 19 targets always appear. Finally, mirror mode flips the smaller photos while leaving the main image unchanged. Completing the final stage in each country rewards you with a coin that unlocks a tile in the bonus section. These tiles can be swapped around until they form a full bonus image. Neither the bonus puzzle nor the extra modes are required for achievements. All you really need to do is clear every stage across the countries to finish the game.

Brought and played the first one and loved it and brought this one when it came out. Still a fun causal hidden object game. Hope the devs will make third one in the series.

我也是前作老玩家了，这部一出就马上购入了。 目前已经跟一代一样打通并且全成就了，一看共花费了8.3小时，比一代的通关时间差不多多了一倍…… 一代的图片种类丰富，每一个章节都能给人带来一定的新鲜感；而这代的图片全部都是城市的俯瞰图，寻找的目标基本都是窗户屋顶啥的，同质化相当严重，到后期更是给人一种重复劳作的赛博苦工感，令人感到无聊且厌烦，完全不能像一代一样让人感到放松。 说实话，我还是挺喜欢这个系列的，毕竟“找猫”游戏已经有太多人做了，除了最夯的几家已经不能让人感到新鲜了。而这种游戏玩法目前我仍然只在本系列中看到过，其创新性我是肯定的。要是开发者的图片选取水平仍然能跟一代保持一致，哪怕就是给一代换个皮，我也肯定会给好评。然而这代的游戏体验确确实实是比不上一代的，游戏性相较于一代反而还倒退了，我不得不给出差评。 希望开发者能将上述问题更正后迅速推出系列的第三部作品，届时我一定会给好评。

　世界周遊といっても都市俯瞰写真が多いため、前作以上に「[b]窓探し・屋根探し[/b]」に堕している。 　写真に何の加工もしなければ、どこでもパラボラアンテナ・ソーラーパネル・エアコン室外機などが出てくる。[b]現代都市が下からの視点に対しては隠蔽しつつ、上から見るといかに無個性か[/b]がバレてしまう。 　都市が隠している暗部を暴く意図を持つゲームではないのだろうから、多少は加工すべきだ。

Longer than the first game and just as good. A nice variation on hidden object games.

游戏创意和美术还可以，但问题是： 第一，这静止画面怎么就能这么吃配置？！疯狂浪费资源啊，完全不考虑优化是吧？不是谁都会用高配电脑玩休闲游戏的。 第二，这汉化水平真是绝了啊，全游戏汉化就只汉化了几个国家的名字？！菜单什么的全部英文？？汉化就是汉化不到100个字？？图片说明什么的都不管是吧？！ 一怒之下直接让AI做了一个，十分钟搞定，大小50k，自选图片，100个成就，而且完全不吃配置

This was such fun! Really enjoyed it, just like the first one. Nice challenge and also nice to see so many different parts of the world - makes you want to travel. Hope there's a number 3!

Pictetive 2 is just as fun as the first game, and I really enjoyed playing it! The new stages feel more challenging, and the added game modes keep the gameplay fresh without making it frustrating. Traveling through different countries while solving the picture puzzles is a nice touch, and it's satisfying when you finally find the correct match. If you enjoyed the first Pictetive, the second one is an easy recommendation. It builds on the original with more variety, more challenge, and plenty of fun. Looking forward to seeing what comes next!
