Phantom Thief Sylphy

Very brief RPGMaker movement-puzzle game that is way too light on content to be considered good value for money. It comes across as a deliberate attempt to plagiarise [i]Phantom Thief Celianna[/i]. Barely 2 hours of gameplay, and a fair bit of frustrating padding to get to that, so it's very over-priced for what you get. [h1]It has some well-presented animated sex-scenes[/h1] And the (very) little writing that goes with them and the cut-scenes could be considered above-average; but they are all very brief and mostly divorced from the gameplay or the larger narrative. It reuses a few assets in the sex-scenes a bit which further reduces the amount of content. No uncensor patch needed as far as I could tell. [h1]The puzzle gameplay is fine in a crude sub-Zelda sort of way.[/h1] Sometimes it can be frustrating: Several times I found myself saving right before a difficult puzzle, failing the puzzle within seconds, and then having to sit through a really lengthy failure cutscene, only to reload and then make another mistake equally quickly. Until I figured out you could hit F5 to force a reset-to-main-menu and thus speed up the reloading, I was wasting more time waiting to have another crack at a puzzle than actually playing the game. This was generally only on a handful of the puzzles - and these were pretty much either trial-and-error puzzles or those which involved fighting the poor RPGMaker controls to avoid falling off narrow platforms or getting stuck on corners. There's really not a lot to do, and the exploration aspect (the best bit of the actual gameplay) is very superficial. [h1]Avoid this unless it's on a VERY steep discount – it feels more like a playable demo than a complete game.[/h1] Which is a shame, as I liked the art-style, the concept, the characters, and even the gameplay was fun enough while it lasted. But there's just no depth to it, and as there's REALLY limited content, no length or breadth to it either.

[h1]Be careful, she might steal your heart[/h1] I enjoyed playing [b]Abyss Agent Alyss[/b] back in the day, so I have been looking forward to giving the prequel a go since I learned about it getting made. It went beyond my expectations and was a lot better than [b]Abyss Agent Alyss[/b]. [h3]Pros[/h3] - Pretty art - Solid gameplay - Decent story and soundtrack [h3]Cons[/h3] - It’s too short for its price The game is very enjoyable, even more than its sequel. Like in any stealth game, you’ll spend most of the time sneaking past the guards or, in some cases, running away from your pursuers. There are a few puzzles in the game, too. They are varied, but none of them are particularly hard. There are timing-focused puzzles, some with time limits, and the occasional mosaic puzzle. As for the story, it works perfectly as a prequel to [b]Abyss Agent Alyss[/b] and also fleshes out Sylphy’s character, making her more than just “that THICC woman that came out of nowhere to help Alyss”. The plot is also simple, which works in the game’s favor since a deep plot full of twists would make it unnecessarily convoluted. Its art is pretty, as it’s always the case in Azurezero’s games. The characters are beautiful, as usual, and the animation in the sex scenes is smooth. The soundtrack is decent. There aren't any groundbreaking songs, but they all do a good job of building up the game’s atmosphere. All in all, I had fun playing [b]Phantom Thief Sylphy[/b], even more than its prequel. Its price, however, is a bit steep since it takes 2 hours to finish the game. Do I recommend purchasing it? Definitely, but you might prefer to wait for a sale. Очень короткая(2-3часа), местами багованная, со сломанными ачивками, но в целом неплохая H-игра. Таки автор улучшил стиль и научился анимации, что есть гуд. Но контента таки кот наплакал, что не есть гуд, при цене таки выше раза в два чем я бы рекомендовал брать. Ждите скидок побольше...

The puzzles aren’t too involved but they do keep the player occupied with something lightly interesting between the well animated erotic scenes. The stealth and action continue to add a dash of decent variety to the game, Phantom Thief Sylphy making navigating interesting and just challenging enough to be a fine supplement but still allowing players interested in the adult content to reach it without too much trouble. It has some technical issues that could use ironing out but aren’t too hard to ignore or circumvent, so while it might not draw in players on the merits of its simple gameplay alone, those drawn in by the sultry heroine Sylphy will find a game that provides decent activities between the salacious scenarios.

Pros -I love the art and characters -Simple but immersive gameplay Cons -Minor bugs and visual glitches -Not as much diversity in H-scenes as in developer's other offerings Conclusion Solid game good for 4-8 hours of play. The art style is unique, but I like it a lot. There were a number of bugs (mostly visual glitches) in the game on launch - most have been fixed, but don't expect the level of polish you would get from a higher-budget game. I do wish there was more variety in the H-scenes - previous offerings from this developer like Abyssal Agent Alyss had excellent variety, but a lot of the H-scenes in this feel kind of similar.

In terms of the game's content, it's not bad, in fact it's good. The problem is there just isn't enough here. If you can get this game at a 50% discount or more, then sure, what's a few dollars but keep in mind we are only taking about 2-3 hours max.

this game is a demo. She can't return home to recharge her weapon batteries or continue on if she triggers the sensors
