well worth the price. I really like the genre / way you play this. it's kinda chill, but also got action... it's a clean little game wish this kind of genre of strategy / tower defense version had more like it. ----------------------------- what I miss here, devs: shortcut keys. especially "build relay"... it would make the game a lot nicer and faster to lay down a basic network in some missions
I enjoyed it. It's a fairly organic tower defense game. You can place "towers" on a 2D plane, anywhere within range of your power network. There are multiple, puzzling, levels. That's all there is to it, really.
For such a cheap game under $10 I was not expecting much. If you like Creeper World style games this one does not disappoint. Pacing is a little fast but that's okay because you have Space bar to stop time and plan your strategies. It's a little repetitive but at such a low asking price this game at 3 hours in has me up past 5 AM. I look forward to spending more time with this hidden gem.
If you dont have what to do this game is good to ,, kill time,,
It's not a very good tower defense type, despite its novel twist on the genre. It's actually a spiritual successor to an old flash game over a decade ago, called The Space Game. There's a massive lack of quality of life features such as chain placement, key shortcuts thus requiring manually clicking absolutely everything save for time pausing, and general play testing. In particular there's the gain 100% of minerals when recycling any Lv1 structure. This upgrade alone allows for cheesing of most enemies and scenarios. Any enemy can be infinitely juggled by recycling any structure. Objectives are sometimes vague and you're liable to lose progress because you didn't know the dev was going to throw a death wave at you. I still played anyway out of mild boredom and nostalgia. For anyone curious, go download the Flashpoint Archive and look up the "Space Game" from The Casual Collective. The original game had more polish, better visuals, music, and even a story despite the fact it's really just a mining company looking to make a profit
Small space tower-defence like game where you build stuff to achive some goals on levels, also includes story & upgrades system as within story as for buildings
